GOOD MORNING :goodvibes ...getting VERY excited now !!:yay: :yay:

:donald: :ccat: :tigger: :mickeyjum :goofy: I`LL BE VISITING WITH "MY BOY MICK".....IN 3 MORE DAYS !!!!!:mickeyjum :donald: :dumbo: :simba: :goofy:

MKY- sending pixiedust yuor way for the results of the testpixiedust:

EE- 2 MORE DAYS FOR RESSIES !!!!:yay: :yay:

TP- are you getting ready ?:laundy:

party: party: party: 3 Days Tomar!!!!

Well, 2 days for me.

MKY: I'm not sure if I have to speed dial, but I am going to.

MKY: Sorry you had a bad week at work. I lived through it with my neighbors 3 year old and an SUV backing out of the driveway. All of his nurses were at the funeral and it was really the first time I realized how much a doctors and nurses job effects them. I have so much more compassion for people in your line of work and I realize that I can NEVER do your job. Probably the reason you escape so much to see Mickey.

Hope all goes well with your test results. Just remember that the worst case secenario, you rent an ECV. You will be fine.

TOMAR: Onto lighter notes...3 more days. I figure you are leaving on Tuesday. That is ususally when we leave too. The airlines are a bit cheaper than the other days. We got REALLY lucky and were able to move up our travel date to Monday. We got a direct flight and all. We will have 10 full days in Disney which is more than I expected. If anyone has any suggestions on 2 days of P&P as opposed to hitting a different park, I would love to hear it. I am undecided if I should buy a second ticket to P&P for 8/21 or if I should upgrade the kids tickets to 4 day base tickets. Either way we will have 5 days in the parks. Just not sure if the P&P will get old going twice in the same week.

EE22: I did not realize that camp started already. Good luck getting through the rest of the week. Just think, Monday will be a distraction for you so it will help the week pass a bit. Oh, and the weather today is beautiful. Sunny and clear without any humidity.

TP2, Your absolutely right. I have seen some horrific / tragic events, that wind up in our units. We just take 1 day at a time, and try our best. It is very draining, intense, and scary at times.

Tomar, are you flying straight to orlando, or stopping at the princess first? Is everything ready? Packed? And double checked? :stitch: :stitch: :stitch:

EE22, Do your finger exercises. :eeyore: :eeyore:

enjoy your weekend everyone.

I'm so nervous...I may barf!!!!

All these changes...I can't cope...
new reservations...
DS going to camp...
DD going to camp...
DS soon to be driving:drive:

MKY: I suppose the bike helmet while driving is probably not a good idea as he will be made fun of at school:confused3

We need to keep this thread alive till 2010 when DS goes off to college. I'll never be able to handle the stress without my Disney Net Friends!!!:scared1:

No Detours ......it`s straight to my "Mouse House" :cloud9:
I`ll be in 7th heaven when PP comes with us soon though !!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed for the results of your test MKY :wizard:

EE- Don`t worry about things !!! Keep focusing on the phone call you have to make tomorrow !!!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

TP- The Girls must be sooooooo excited now !!!!!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST !!!!!!!..........
party: 48 MORE HOURS ....AND TOMAR IS IN THE WORLD !!!party:

EE22: We will be here for you.:grouphug: Good luck in the morning getting your dates.

There was a steam pipe explosion in NYC. It really looked a lot like 9/11. Very scary pictures and hard to believe that more people were not hurt.

Tomar: You must be so excited. Hopefully you are almost done with your chores :laundy: so you can start to enjoy yourself. The baby is so excited this year. She has been telling people on the street that she is going to see Cinderella soon. She is excited for everything, the airplane, seeing the castle, the princesses. She is going to be a lot of fun this year.

MKY: Hoping you get some results soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Tomorrow is my big day:cool1:

I'm starting to stress about going to work too. I swore I wouldn't do anything until football started and I've been good. It starts this week so I have to get after it now. We have three new teachers in our department this year and two new administrators:upsidedow

TP2: How old is your youngest again?

MKY: Good luck with the foot. I'm going for mine tomorrow, but it's not nearly as serious as yours.

By the way, I will be more than happy to watch for ap rates while you're gone. I won't be doing stuff for my trip so I can focus. The offer stands if you want me to.

TOMAR!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: I'm so excited for you!!

I'm excited that my ticker has dropped to 10 months:dance3:

EE22: Our youngest is almost 3. We are squeeking her in for this last trip and next time we have to pay for her.

EE22: Our youngest is almost 3. We are squeeking her in for this last trip and next time we have to pay for her.

She will have a blast this year. DD was 4 when we went to Universal and Sea World and stayed in Daytona Beach. Both kids had a blast. DS was 6.

I remember the summer after we went I was driving in the car with them and they were talking in the back seat about the Rugrats and DS says to DD..."now, Manda, they are really that big and they shrink them down to put them on tv."

It was so cute:lmao:

They loved the characters. I guess that's when DD's obsession for finding characters all began.

Now she has moved onto pressed pennies. We have been sorting and soaking pennies for a month now!! I am printing the massive list so she can mark off the ones she already has. I hope she realizes this is a lifetime collection and she doesn't think we'll finish it next summer:eek:

I am getting depressed and worried. Wish my appointment was before friday.

I don't want to jinx myself, but: I usually get an impression from the tech's that do the test, (by the way they react after the test). My guess is not good. When ever they come in and try to assist you more, help you off the table, put my shoe on, etc.. . is not a good sign. They know something. When you go in the test they are like: jump up here, put foot in here, do this, etc.. . and hurrying you > then after they are real sympathic = bad sign for results. I have already considered: cancel trip?, wheel chair / ECV (sis and i could take turns?) crutches? He told me worse case sceniro surgery, vs. cast. I tried to talk him down to an imobilzer / splint? / nothing?

Would you guys go in a cast?
Better to hold surgery after we go? /vs. before? Which way would i feel better?
If it is an imobilzer, i think no problem, i am going. The cast cuts out the pool entirely plus the heat?
I am not worried about the wheelchair thing. As long as if i want to walk a few minutes / get in and out of rides it would be possible? Should be definately below knee.
True, I have been walking on this for almost 2 months, but it is not disney walking. I know how bad it hurts now, can't imagine after a few hours in humidity, 90+'s, and crowds?

Sorry, if i am having a pity party. Family just thinks: don't go, no big deal. Sis understands. But is also dissappointed so, don't like depressing her = taking it out on you guys.

I even am planning: should i do somethings now, before friday = just in case? Get suitcases down, :woohoo: or iron and put certain things away? I just took care of the "grey" problem.;) = back to my brown mane.:thumbsup2 I need a pedicure before friday.

OK, lets go to something happy! EE22, You are one busy woman. Let us know how the call goes. And yes, absolutely if i am in disney, i would appreciate you watching for codes.

Tomar, are you renting a car? If so did you get a good deal? Where? Our car price this year is about $100 more than last, and its the best deal i can find? 48HOURS! :yay:

TP2, a 3 year old is so exciting to take to disney. I picture her with mickey. Who watches you puppy? Vader :darth: is staying home with the grandparents. (78 & 77 yr old)

It is just beauitful here today too! 80, and sunny. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.:wizard: mky

MKY- I hope and pray that all comes out well with this testpixiedust: ....sometimes we see things in a different light...than they really are...because we are afraid of the outcome.. ..I know....I`ve waited for a couple of results myself down the years:rolleyes1
If I were you....I would think of the best senario....(in which case ...all is well)....and the worse senario (/That being having the operation )....Now if the worse senario should appear..(and I pray not:angel: )...can you go to the world anyway...and wait for the operation......or....would you give up the trip altogether...and have the operation and heal....and you KNOW that your going for Thanksgiving anyway :cloud9: ....It`s got to be intirely up to you....at least you have another trip coming up.....I would have to wait a whole year
My thoughts and prayers are with you for a good report...or a decision that you`ll be ok with !!!:grouphug:

MKY, I know nothing about all this stuff so if this is a dumb suggestion, please forgive me.

Could you do one of those walking boot things? Is that what you meant by an imobilzer?:confused3 I know the lady I work with broke her wrist and she would not do the non removable cast because of all the problems of not getting it wet, etc

Crutches are horrible. I've had kids in class with them and their arm pits are always so sore. I wouldn't think they would work in the World.

I hope things go okay for you. Hang in there. I feel so bad for you :sad1:

My first reaction is to not have the surgery before you go if you still go on the trip. It's too close to when you go and I can't believe your recovery would go that fast. I'd rent a ECV before I'd do that. But, I don't know how much pain you are in either. I had just my big toenail removed 3 years ago and I was in pain for a week with that and yours is much worse. I could have never done Disney...although I was in pain while I was there too!

Try not to fret till Friday...although I'm the worst one in that area. I don't wait well.

Just think about how fast you could get down Mainstreet with one of those motorized cart thingys...you'd beat me to the Castle.:goodvibes

FOR SURE, I will watch for ap rates WHEN you go:dance3:
I'll get your contact info and watch for you. It should be easier this year since I won't be booking Candlelight. I still can't believe they released both on the same day last year! That's crazy!!

Thanks so much you guys. I need to calm down. I still contend that i have walked (worked) on it this long, what is another 25 days. Unless it matters, or will make it worse, i hope not to do anything before. Yes, the immobilzer is one of those, large stiff contractions feels like a cast on, but you can remove it. I plan to tell him, swimming is good physical therapy.;) And CR has 2 hot tubs, to soak it in.:wizard:

Ok, not going to dwell. have a great sunday!

:tinker: :ccat: :donald: :dumbo: :tink: :mickeyjum OK EVERYONE !!!! tHIS IS IT !!!
IN 24 HOURS.....THE TOMARS WILL BE AT OUR "MOUSE HOUSE" !!!! YIPEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!:mickeyjum :goofy: :simba: :tinker: :dumbo: :tigger: :mickeyjum

EE-:woohoo::yay: WHOOHOOO GET THOSE DIALING FINGERS READY !!!!!!! :woohoo: :yay:

I'm so excited for you Tomar!!!

Today is my first big day!! I'll let ya know how it goes:surfweb:

MKY: I don't know what I would do. I will say that if you are really sick or if there is a problem of any sort you will be much happier to be home where you have your doctors and you know money is not flying out the window while you rest in a hotel room. Last year the baby got sick and we had to go the the emergency clinic. They thought she may be having kidney failure. Anyhow, that day was so stressful more because we did not have doctors that we know and trust and we had no family for backup. I would have given anything to be anywhere BUT WDW that day. I can never imagine another time in my life I would feel that way but your health is not at the top WDW is not the best place to be. You also have another trip coming and you could postpone this one. I do understand all the planning that goes into it so it is not as easy as just cancelling a hotel room. On the other hand, you have been walking on it for awhile now and you are getting by. The ECV is a must but if the pain is not too severe you should be able to enjoy your trip. I will keep you in my prayers, good luck Friday (they wouldn't give you an appointment any sooner???).

Tomar::cool1: :banana: :cool1: :banana: :cool1: :banana:
So happy for you, leaving in the morning. We are leaving 4 weeks from today and I am getting nervous. We have so many projects going on around our house and we are no where near done. I guess it can all wait until after the trip.

EE22: How did it go? Did you get what you want?
DD2 is SOOO excited. She can't stop talking about it. DH thinks I am playing tapes for her while she is sleeping to give her subliminal messages.:lmao:

Hi All,
Got my first night done. I'm doing a day by day reservation since all of AKV isn't built. Only issue....there were no rooms for a cash reservation on our arrival date. I'll keep trying on that one. Perhaps we will for sure do the BC then the day we arrive. I would rather move at the beginning of the trip rather than the end. DH will not be a happy camper though I do know that. But, there's lots of time between now and then.

Tomar is coming out of her skin :rotfl: I know that feeling.

Keep playing those tapes for DD:lmao:

Hey Gang :goodvibes
Trying to get all the last minute washing and out of the way.:laundy: ...all our luggage is closed and locked...and ready to go....:cool1:....
I`ll try to get back on to say Good-bye to you guys :grouphug: before I shut the computer tonight !!!!!! :yay:
Mickey......here we come !!!!!! Yipee !!!party:

EE- Your on your way to making a Beautiful first DVC Vacation for next summer !!!!!:cheer2:

TP- I can just imagine what your household will be like when you hit this day !!:dance3:

MKY- Im praying for you !!!
