I called tonight and talked to a very nice CM who looked to see if there were any AAA discounts available for my time period (6/5-6/24). We have resv. at Pop. There were not only no discounts but no availablity at any value. When I asked her opinion of AP or any other discounts for the summer, her reply was 'This is only my opioion but I don't believe there will be any discounts offered during the summer months since all the resorts are booked solid till the second week of August, that's just my opinion.' I also started looking off site and many of Mousesaver's suggested off site hotels are also booked. It's going to be a very busy summer in DW.

We are five hours ahead of you and as I am working at my computer I keep flicking back and forward to this page, its funny watching all your little green lights come up as you log on early in the morning .

Just to tell you its a beautiful spring day here, lots of sunshine and birds singing, just like something in Snow White...perhaps we will be lucky today

Another day another check in!!!! I talked to my TA yesterday and he said he has not heard any rumblings about codes. There is still availabilty in July so I am still hopeful that a code will come out!!!

Good morning...

I'm trying to stay optimistic for our early/mid July dates but I'm not "feelin' it" right now. I'm kind of freaking out because my DH doesn't want to go during free dining (Aug/Sept doesn't work well with our work and camp schedules) so we're pretty locked into our dates. We booked room only, so we can make changes if necessary. Unfortunately, this was the first year I didn't plan and book everything 4-6 months in advance. I had no idea summer would be even harder to book than the time around school vacations! We're booked at WL and AKL at AAA rates, but they only had room availability in the more expensive "views" and the rates are still a bit steep for my taste. DH and DS really want to stay there and don't want to stay Value again, but I can't find any Mods with rack rate avaiability for our dates. AAA.com says they have some but it won't process when you go to complete booking.

TRYING to stay positive, patient and hopeful for at least some summer codes that will surpass AAA. Here's some extra pixie dust...

Today is the first day in 3 weeks I did not get up early and get showered / dressed early for work. Hoping my laziness will trigger the codes? So I would be late for work?

Guys, honestly - I really and truly believe it's over. Disney parks are up 17% this quarter. Rooms are at 92% capacity for June. I'm as upset as anyone, and feel "left out" given that I'm an AP holder as well, but it's just getting very clear that AP discounts are not something they feel the need to give us at this time.

That being said, next year at this time, they'll have them back. When they see the drop off in AP holder renewals, they'll realize, the "hit" they take in the discounts isn't worth losing their most repeat customers.

I got the same cm as yesterday. I will know there schedule soon. I must be giving up thou I only called once yesterday at the 6am cst time.

You may want to call back. I was in the same situation with only able to get a courtyard view at WL, but Sunday night I noticed standard rooms had opened. I called Monday and switched to standard AAA rate and saved a few hundred $$. Still holding out for AP rates but hope is dwindling.
