June/July/August 2006 Code watch

You can call Disney and see if you can add the AAA discount to your existing ressie. If there is availability then there is no problem. I booked for my October trip last week. I remembered yesterday that I forgot to ask for the AAA rate. I called back and they applied it to my Poly reservation. They don't even ask for the AAA number anymore but you do need it at check in for sure.

Thank you DaisyD and everyone else regarding the AAA discount. Will call in the morning and see what happens and let you all know!! I'm still not totally giving up on a code! :goofy:

I was able to get on the AP site. Nothing new. I had all kinds of problems last night and this morning. I think they just have lots of traffic sometimes.

I'll be checking in first thing in the morning, too, so I'll post and let you guys know what I find through AP site, mousesavers and the CMs at CRO.

** Fingers crossed **

:rolleyes1

I will be here in the AM. :sunny:

I am starting to wonder what all of this means. Maybe no codes for the summer? :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: At what point do I give up hope and get my mind around staying offsite? I have Sheraton Vistana booked for our trip but I would much rather stay onsite. I can only afford to do that with the AP discount. Ohhhh...the waiting is making me  Do we give up hope for a summer AP code after the first week of May? :confused3 This is when they have been released in the past. :sad2:

Just wondering..... I know a couple times in the recent past I received a courtesy type email the day before the AP rates came out, just letting me know that they would be released. Don't you all think that would be the case again - the email before they come out?

I was looking at Mousesavers historical code releases, and it seems that in the last couple of years AP rates and Fl. Resident rates for summer (after June 3rd) have not been released until the first week of May. I wouldn't begin to really worry that none are coming until after the first week of May.

Although I wish it were sooner to put my own mind at ease!

Lives4disney,

Sometimes we all get a notice, sometimes a few random notices are out and sometimes no notice to anyone. You never know.

Just checked official ap site, intercot, wdwinfo, & mousesavers ALL nothing.

The last 2 years I have watched for AP codes, the only one that comes out the night before is intercot...another discussion board. The others are always behind news from the phone lines. Mousesavers posts within minutes of CRO opening though except the last time codes were released the end of Feb it was a bit later. Mary said she over slept.

A few times I got an e-mail from disney (summer 2005) stating the AP discount. Was not a pin code, but without a number notified of the annoucement. I just figured it was random & of course I wasn't going twice when they did it. So was useless. ( :wizard: WDW probably knew that, that is why I got it.)

Caldwell says: "Let's see if we have a winner this morning!. . .ah, too bad--not today. . ." (much giggling between the two of us). He said: "I'm sure you know that we don't know anything until it happens" to which I replied that I understood that to be the case. He says that if it were him--he'd check back Monday. I told him that IF I had to place a wager--I, too, would agree that it would be after 4/23/06 and he agreed.

It looks as if the hunt continues. . . :cheer2:

YIKES!! Bring the sunscreen! Vegas is HOT in June. DH goes every year for a conference and he says it is melting hot. (he is there the first week in June so if you are going then :wave2: to him lol)
But he is just a big baby and probably complaining because he is in a suit. (so maybe it is not that hot after all) where are you staying?

Isn't he a HOOT!?! :rotfl: That's the CM I got yesterday morning when I called @ 7:00 on the way to work. He also told me "if you don't call again until Friday or Monday, it will be okay." We did have a fun lil' conversation though. Bless his heart, he even tried to sell me on Cirque tickets. :teeth:

We are thinking about staying at the bellagio this time around, but the yamaha company is paying for the rooms at manadaly bay. so we might just take that free offer up lol  (oh we will be there at the end of june 25-30)
