thanks for the reminder of split stays. I called back and got 4 nights at our pick resort, BC and 2 nights at the 2nd choice, BWI. Yay!

Had to pay for a water view but still saved $600

Congrats to all that got to take advantage of the new ap rates! So sad for everyone like me going in June. I did call and finally got a AAA rate for my room and saved $289 better than nothing!

Is their any small glimmer of hope or sliver of a chance for the June people?

I'm lucky to be a DVC member. I only use my AP discount on the Fri/Sat nights b/c those are the highest points. If this is the future of AP, it really makes me glad we became DVC members. I highly recommend looking into it. Check out the DVC DIS boards for help on the math.

Ok...what is saratoga like? I got a 1 bd villa for $259 a night.

You'll probably LOVE SSR! We toured it last year checking out the DVC (which we might join this year ) and it is absolutely beautiful! The 1 BR has a FULL kitchen, king in master, jacuzzi tub, washer&dryer, sleeper sofa, etc. .... check out the phots & fact sheet on www.allearsnet.com for more info!

Congrats on the rate! IF we join DVC, we might be flipping over there, but for now we're @ CR/BWI/POR .....

Well, I had a hunch June was to be skipped when they waited SO long to release any discounts. I guess, of the several things different CM's stated to me, there was truth to ONE.....
"THE MODS ARE 92% FULL FOR JUNE."

There was no way in holy "&%#@" that Disney was going to release AP rates for June.

For all of you who got the AP rate...congrats !!!. To those of you waiting for AP rates for mods.....BOOK NOW with AAA rate if possible. There will be no discounts out there for the mods. The mods and values sell out fast and the deluxes is what dont. They want people in the deluxes and they will offer the discounts for them.

We are entering a new era....Park attendance and travel are now UP post 911.

Gee, did anyone ever think if Eisner was still in charge, AP rates would have been available.?

To all who took the time to call everyday and post....I thank you. To all who got the rate discount...Lucky you !!!

In the long run, us June people have our health, and that is what is important.

Makes us all wonder what the future of AP rates hold now

The future will be the same as it always has been since the beginning of Annual Pass Discounts, they will offer what "they" need to fill rooms.

If room are booking at Rack Rate there is absolutely no reason for them to discount. Obviously June is booked heavily property wide in all categories. July is obviously booked heavily at all properties except the ones they offer some discounts.

August will be a wait and see. However since this promotion runs through August 5 and free dining begins on August 13, I would not be surprised if nothing was offered in between.

We are a family of five, and if I have done my research right, the least expensive accomodations for us are the Port Orleans Riverside (w/ trundle) for $155/nt. I am willing to join AAA for a discount; or are there other discounts?
(w/o reading this entire thread, which I am willing to do later)
We are looking at mid-August.

I guess the mods are also full for July if they have only released deluxes. It's strange that they didn't do the deluxes for June since there is still so much availability then.

They havent' released any Fl resident discounts past June 3 yet which is very strange because they are always at the same time.

At least we have AAA. I don't think that I've ever paid so much for Disney and I for one am not canceling my trip because we're staying at disney with our boys while my daughter is at orientation at UCF but I can tell you that I won't pay these prices again. I'd rather go stay at the Ritz Carlton for this price.

I would go ahead and book now with the AAA discount and get at least the 15% off. You don't need to join BEFORE you book, just have the card with you at check in. IF another code comes out that works better for you, you would probably be able to change it over. You can book with Disney for a room only rate, but if you want the package, then you'll have to book with AAA. Good luck!!!

Does anyone know if they were offering the 2 bed villa at OKW and what it cost?

Ziggy - I got a 2BR at OKW for July 14 and 15 for $390/nt - AP discount was $110

I was indicating that even in a studio (with max occupancy of 4 people) you may have a child under the age of 3 too...

for a grand total of 5 people, albiet one under 3, in a studio!

Nope sorry you are dead wrong. I am not going to get into a debate about this in this thread but you are 100% incorrect. Call Member Services yourself. I have 5 people listed - with their correct ages - on my reservation in a 1 BR every year. It is allowed - for any age. This is a fact.

Just tried to book via the telephone for July 8, 9, 10 and 11. All sold out at YC, CB and BW. No rooms at all - rack rate or AP.

Even tried manipulating the dates.

So much for that!

Correction: I was able to get a Grand Gathering at BWI for all 4 nights - 3 rooms. Not sure why this made a difference but I'm relieved....

I don't know what is doing on between 7/8-7/11 but sheesh the whole place is booked solid.

I was able to get the YC standared for 7/11-7/15 and the BW for 7/8-7/11 but nothing anywhere other than the BW for the weekend of 7/8-7/11.

I was told to keep calling back because my CM was able to get me the AP discounts only a couple minutes after telling me know availability. They are adding/dropping rooms all the time.

Now I'm just hoping for the WL to open so I can switch so ressies around.

I just called again and this time spoke with Guest Services. She suggested that I email and let them know. She couldn't promise anything, but she thought it would be good for them to know how we feel. The address is:

The answer is "yes"!!! My trip was already booked for Aug 2 to Aug 10. I switched resorts to BC and was able to get the AP rate for the whole trip. The CM I spoke with said that your check-in date just has to be between July 5 and Aug 5. I hope this helps you out --- it sure made my day!!!!!

I glanced at AAA website...prices on there cannot beat the prices I saw on allears or in Passporter...

I've got $155/nt at Port Orleans (I can do 5 here, right?), and basic park passes for $220/pp (adult) for 7 days...though we may not need 7. That is $408 pp, and AAA shows $435 cheapest at value resorts for basic passes (plus dining special)

Will AAA give me 15% off the $155/nt rate?
