So, another trip to plan. I'm sure we will go next year. But DS1 is starting school, so he would miss a week in school, because I don't want to do DLP in spring holiday time, Easter etc. I was thinking about June. So I got couple questions:
How are crowds and queues in June? Compared to March?
How is the weather? Warm or hot? 20-25 is the best for me.

I do like trips in May and June, but I've not been that late in June before. May and early June, in my experience, have been lovely and warm - and wet at times (but warm rain ;)).

Have a look at 2013 school holidays for Spain and Italy if you can, I believe thats around the time they would start their school summer holidays. France would normally be a week or so later than you are planning your trip for.

So if I do want to beat the crowds March is better?

March midweek is generally quieter - but midweek in June we've had low crowds (early-mid month). I did notice more school trips around on our May and June trips, but we never ended up in any ride queues with them :).

The good thing about June (if you can go early enough to avoid the Spanish and Italian summer school holidays) is that its early summer season, so for instance this year the Tarzan show should be up and running in June, but will close again in October until early summer 2013. You also tend to get longer park hours midweek in June compared to March.

We've been late June and it was the hottest time at DLP we've had. It even beat July.

Scottish schools finish in the last week of June (generally) and many people take their kids out a week early for summer holidays. So bear that in mind too.

I think though, that if the weather is nice then the park will be busier in general. Also there are many school trips this time of year. My dd is going with the school w/c 18 June.

But, I wouldn't let it put you off. The crowds are manageable so long as you go mid-week. And with you being before, you'll be surprised how much you can do with a bit of planning :goodvibes
