might be OT, but I was looking at the park hours for the week of June 14th. DL is open from 8a (or 9a) til 12a everyday except Thursday...it closes at 9p...no fireworks, no fantasmic. Why is this? Same with DCA...it is open until 10p (or 9p) every day except Thursday...closes at 6pm...and of course no parade?

What is up with 06/18/09...is there something going on?

I'm not even worried about the early closure for the Grad party when I go. We will be driving from Utah, leaving in the evening and driving through the night and then going straight to the parks. The grad night will be our first night there so we'll be just fine with the early night.

A total of 32 hours in Southern California! This is a really quick trip.

This is my first trip to DLR. I don't have time from work to do a full vacation, but I need a break!
Staying at the Quality Inn and Suites.

The breakdown:
Round-trip airfare from Boston: $68 - Jetblue sale
One night at hotel: $55 - cheapest I could find on hotels.com
Super Shuttle from LGB airport: $70 - thanks to DISers for posting online coupons!
2 day park-hopper CM comp tickets: FREE!!! - thanks to my dad who is a WDW CM!

Two weeks from today!

Exactly one month from today, we will be at DL!

We are driving, so our trip actually starts June 23 but in one month we will be at DL!

I feel very unprepared! How is that possible?? I seem to spend a lot of time planning and yet there is still so much to do!

I will add my name to the list! June 24-29 and am bringing 8 teenagers to join 8000 other teenagers for the FBLA national conference. We have been assigned to the Anaheim Marriott.

10 more days for us including today since it just started. I just printed off the two birthday emails we need to take to get the gift cards. My dd finally found a swimsuit on Saturday adn I'm taking my son to get some sandals so he has more than one pair of shoes for the trip . . . . let's see what else? Oh, Danny got his cast on his arm and the doc said it's ok for him to swim! He even said it would be a good way to get rid of the bad smell of not being able to wash his arm cause the clorine will kill the smell. I always thought getting a cast wet was a big no no but he said so long as we rinse it well with clean water and poor some Hydrogen Peroxide down it he'll be good to go. He thinks it will dry out fairly quickly in California. So Danny might jsut be going swimming after all but will at least get to go on the water rides with a plastic bag.
