Still lurking around a bit...
Yesterday DCL was kind enough to send us our "Let's get ready to cruise" packet complete with info on all of the excursions as well as some of the concierge "exclusives" can you say OMG it's expensive? I got quite a kick out of adding up the cost of the excursions we would have taken. An extra $3-4K would cover it no, seriously!
Glad to know y'all are getting together some private tours.

I'm still excited for all of you. Should be a fantastic time. Keep an eye on BBM!

Where do you stay in London? We haven't been there before and would like to stay somewhere near Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye, etc. Any suggestions?

We're staying at the London Hilton Metropole. I think that's right. We get in the morning of the 24th (my birthday ) and fly to Barcelona on the morning of the 27th.

We haven't ever stayed there before. We picked it because we are in the Hilton rewards program and they had family rooms that would fit all 5 of us. I don't think it is that close to the major sites, but is near some major tube stations. I don't think getting around should be too difficult.

Im in sunny Palm Beach weather is finally going to warm up!

We all have our passports and can't wait to go. My 4yo keeps talking about the Mickey Boat!!! Did you have fun in Orlando? We live 2 hours north of Orlando and go down quite a bit. We'll be at Disney for Mother's Day weekend and are finally staying at the Grand Floridian!!!! It should be a great Disney spring and summer!!!

Is anyone buying anything special for the trip? My DH wants a high definition video camera to take. I'm sure we'll get it!!!

This is our first Disney cruise so we can't book any excursions for a while. I'm thinking about trying to do some of this on our own anyway. Who are you using for transportation in Barcelona?

Hello Everyone:

We booked our flights today. It is seeming more real all the time. We also booked our room in London at the Crown Plaza and will be going to Paris using the chunnel. Booked that today as well. Hoping tomorrow our travel agent will get the room we want at the Newport Beach Disneyland resort in Paris. Then pretty much everything is taken care of. We had already booked our room in Barcelona.

Well, I'm sure this has come up before, but I was wondering, is anyone getting travel insurance for this trip? I've never gotten it before, but with all 5 of us going and this trip costing so much... Can anyone recommend a company? Also, what do I really need to have and what isn't necessary? \
