Hey everyone I was able to get some more ironing done tonight. Ralph will pick up the drycleaning tomorrow. Get the last minute candy/gum etc. at Walmart and another underwater camera that we need. I know that trip to Walmart will be a long one!! Cam it was great talking to you on the phone tonight. I can't believe in one week we will be going to sleep to get up early on Friday to leave for the airport and sit by that Radisson Pool to relax for the day before we go to the port the next day. I am actually getting butterflies in my stomach every time I think about things. I get real nervous before I travel, Ralph is like a little kid and can't sleep so I know that night before will be useless trying to sleep cause we will be so excited go to. Well, everyone stay safe and keep in touch.

Hello, Everyone!

My mom and I just returned home from a combination early birthday/ Red Wings party. My beloved Red Wings won the Stanley Cup for the third time in six years!!! Tomorrow it's time to take my car and get the tires rotated for the trip to Florida. We are going to leave on Saturday morning about 10:00 a.m. and drive to just south of Atlanta. It's raining here and that just what is needed. My mom has 300 acres of corn and beans that really need rain. Tomorrow will be a day of packing and writing a note listing where my mom and I will be until July 12th for my brothers and their families who take care of the farm while we are gone. We should arrive in Florida at the comfort Suites by Old Town on Sunday afternoon. Next week we are going to Cypress Gardens, Sea World, and Universal before the cruise. We are going to Epcot on the 20th to celebrate my 40th birthday at Le Cellier. I am an avid collector of beanie babies bears and one of my early birthday presents tonight was a Pierre beanie baby and a matching Pierre beanie baby buddies which are Canadian exclusives. I also received a Hattrick Hunter beanie bopper to ad to my collection of hockey memorabilia.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone on the 22nd. We hope that everyone has a safe trip to Florida.

Today is our offical anniversary (10th) and we celebrated by finishing the packing and gathering of documents!

We are offically packed and just have to wait less then 24 hours now to leave for the trip. We are doing the red eye so we fly from CA to Las Vegas and then arrive in Orlando at 8 am Saturday!!!!

We definately are going to enjoy our time at WDW but will miss all of the message boards while we are gone this next week.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 22nd! Have a safe trip and thanks for all of the wonderful information that has been provided, I definately feel prepared......

Remember you green ribbons and meet on Deck 10 overlooking the Goofy Pool, that is where the sailaway party is we will be on starboard side. Finally, I am able to get back on to the boards. I have been blocked out for nearly a week.

Cam, thanks for all your help. As you can see it worked.

I can't believe it is only a week away. When you book these things everything seems so far away and one day you wake up and it is here.

Today is our official last day of school. The boys get out at 10:00 a.m. Why bother even going in. They are also very excited about the trip. I have all their clothes put aside to pack and on a whim I asked one of the boys to try on his dress pants. Too short. He just wore them to a party 3 weeks ago. Growing too fast. So I had a momentary panic attack and then went and got new ones. Everything else fit fine.

So I'm off to the spare bedroom to tackle the packing and I told Harry not to let me out till I'm done.

A safe trip to all that are leaving early and I talk to everyone else this week.

Hi, everyone!!
WOW!!! One week from right this moment, we will already have landed in Orlando! So hard to believe, considering that this trip was about 307 days away when we first made our reservation.

Dee, I am soooo glad you are back on the boards! We have missed you.

Roberta, it was such a pleasure talking with you last night. I got a lot of my ironing done while we were on the phone, too . Then, being the compulsive list-maker that I am, I made a list on the clipboard with "H" and "C" at the top, and down the side it said things like "formal, semi-formal & Palo's", "dinner in Key West" "tropical night" "casual nights" "travel" "boarding" "travel home" "at-sea days", etc. etc. So, needless to say, as Howard always comments, "I am organizing us to death". I get the impression, though, that he didn't really mind once he realized that not one of the shirts he had selected would match the khaki green shorts that he just HAS to wear on that jeep excursion and that he will, in fact, want to look for a pair of sandals, so as not to wear white socks and tennis shoes on tropical night!!!

So, now we have the clothes issue pretty much ironed out (excuse the pun!) Working on the odds and ends and setting stuff up for cali, and getting the kids packed for 3 days away, making lists for my in-laws, too. Trying to come up with ideas for little gifts for the kids while we are away--bought some small activity kits, hairstyling book for curly girls, books, comic books, etc. Hoping the kids won't drive my in-laws bonkers

Back to work, bummer!!!

WOW, Cam...you are organized...this is great to read the DIS boards to get ideas and it helps to see how other people get organized...I'm impressed. I'm still shopping and hopefully I'll be finished...as you all know that John and our daughter, Jessica (11) will be leaving to orlando tomorrow night for business and pleasure and they will be back on Tuesday night and then gotta repack to leave in 4 days...what a life!!!

Well, gotta go to do more things...see ya all there next week

Hi Everyone!!!

Well, last night, my grandmother that is going on the cruise with us, came over to straighten out a few last minute details such as the documents and our plan for the morning of the 22nd.

We are all trying to get organized too. I won't be able to pack until Thursday afternoon since my dad has to be away on Business from Mon.-Thurs. morning and he needs to use my suitcase (long story). But, I will have everything laid out in the spare room for packing by Wed. Yesterday, decided what dinner outfit will go with what theme night. Glad I did, because I realized that I didn't have a thing tropical! So today we will go out a get me a tropical outfit! Hopefully I will find something!!!

Counting down the days and getting really, really, really EXCITED!!!

Hi everyone!
Sounds like we are all in the packing mode! I haven't gotten the suitcases out yet but my piles are getting bigger! No sense packing for Logan until Monday night (we leave Tues.) since he'll probably "need" something we had packed. Sometimes I think 12 year old boys are worse than girls about clothing!
Picked up my dress from the seamtress (some of you know my dress story!) and it is perfect! Lyns borrowed a prom dress from a friend of hers and all I can say is wow! You teenage boys better watch out!!!
It's cool and rainy here in PA so I'm doing laundry and trying to organize a few things! Enjoy the weekend....only 7 more days till Magic!!!

Hello Howard - loved your weather report ---spoke to my uncle today and he said some rain and some clouds -nothing unusual ---weather is strange on the keys ---but I do believe you will have beautiful weather for strolling, looking, etc when you arrive there ---Tell Cam her stuff is on the way -------To you, Roberta and everyone else that will be staying at the Radisson on the 21st - I most likely wont be able to make it for my hubby will be under the weather - BUT I will be leaving 2 bottles of wine with Cam and Roberta name on it to share with everyone and have a toast on me being that I wont' be there -----I wish everyone that they have a wonderful and fun filled week -----I wish each and all a very safe trip here and then back home -again anyone needing any help while here -call the shop and someone will be able to help --------Remember I care about you guys and wish I was going to be in KW that weekend -----anyhow keep in touch and let me know how the trip went.

Hi, everyone!! SO hard to believe today is 6/15. How the heck did that happen?!!!????
We are getting so excited. Howard is shopping for sandals today--wonder whether I should have let him venture into a shoe store without supervision ! Let's hope for the best!!!

Did a Target spree last night and final items (including lots of Bonine) at the drugstore this morning. YIPPEE!!! We are ready to pack. Have decided to put out all new toiletry items at home (toothpaste, etc) and to pack the open bottles so we won't be bringing them home (need the room for souvenirs and bottles of kaluha, right? )
Well, I am at work for the day, so I'll get back to it. Have received lots of new information for the cruiser list, so I will resend it in the next couple of hours.

Hey guys, just think....looking at the webcam at the Port right now, the next time we will see it is when we will be getting on our ourselves. Did some more shopping today, found 2 more pair of sandals red and blue ones, never enough shoes. Well with a size 5 foot, you can fit lots of shoes in those little pockets in the suitcases. Picked up gum, mints, etc. Keep in touch and talk to everyone soon..........

Hi everyone:

Well, we have been here at OKW for over 24 hours now. We have had some torrential rains since we arrived. Hopefully all this will be out of the way by the time we set sail next weekend.
We are so pumped for this cruise. At least we have this week to wind down and get some rest!

rcdisneyfam... I can't imagine finding shoes that size! Our oldest daughter wears a 5 1/2 or 6 and she always has a problem. Whenever she finds some, of course she has to buy them! I always say, a woman can never have enough shoes!

Michelle: See you all on Tuesday. We are going to Yachtman's Thursday night. Linz and Bud will watch Hillary and Zack!!!! I think Wednesday is men's night out! Call us when you get close and we'll meet you at the front.

Hello everyone!

Yes, I did go shopping for sandals today and happened to find a pair at Kohl's. Cam even liked them. I am not as helpless as she lets on. I bought a pair of Sketchers sandals. I am a bit older then who they market their products to, but I am sure they don't mind that I purchased them. I haven't had sandals since I was a kid, then they had metal buckles (no velcro) and rubber "tire tread" bottoms. Those were the days.

I am balancing my desire to pack with the need to do things around the house to get the place ready for my Mom and Step-father who will be staying here with our kids from June 23-29. Cleaning, fixing, more cleaning.... UGH!! Why clean today when it will be dirty again by Wednesday? I am sure it will all come together before Thursday night.

We are getting really excited about the cruise. We went to dinner tonight with friends at Pizzeria Uno in Deptford, NJ about 1/2 hour from here. While we were waiting for a table a couple came in. The woman was wearing a Disney Cruise Line sweatshirt and the man was wearing a ESPN Skybox t-shirt. I just had to ask them if they were on a Disney Cruise. They said they just went on their first cruise and it was the Inaugural Western cruise on the Magic!!! Small world isn't it? They loved it!! We chatted with them about 10 minutes about it. That made us even more excited about our cruise this coming week.

Oh what will we be doing this time next week? Partying in the clubs, looking out over the sea, drinking a nice tropical drink, etc.....



It is almost here and Mike and I are also getting ready. Have cruise clothes all over the bedroom, some in a suitcase and others that need to be washed. I will get it all together somehow.

We went to Blake's end of the season (baseball) party tonight and brought a friend home with us. With three little boys here making lots of noise, I can smile and think that next weekend will be so different.
