June 22, 2010 - 5-night to Key West

looked at weather for disney, kw, nassau for all next week and forecast= rain rain rain with thunderstorms. on a better note... i called disney and they said toy story 3 will b showing on our boat!!!! along with prince of persia and alice in wonderland.

I wouldn't worry too much about the rain; this time of year it always rains a bit in the afternoon in Florida, but if you wait a bit the sun pops back out!

I just put the finishing touches on my FE gifts for the kids! Im working on the adults tomorrow...I have the items just havent decided how to bag them lol. I am so VERY excited! We are leaving Saturday morning at 4 a.m. and driving as far as we can. We will be in DW on Sunday! Not much more time now!

A friend of mine just got off the Wonder on Sunday and she said it was hot but Wonderful!

Not worrying about the weather, going to get to 90 starting tomorrow here so we'll be acclimated. Leaving Monday, can't believe it's almost here!

Started packing this afternoon. Finishing up FE this evening. Have all the kids done just finishing up the last few for the adults. I have had to much fun with these. Have made most of them and DD keeps asking did you make one for me also (I kept telling her no, but in the end there is enough that she will get one as well).

3 inches of rain at WDW yesterday, much more than a bit of rain and no sun afterwards. Horrible and thunder and lightning the last 2 days as well. Supposed to be the same today, tomorrow and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday the chance of storms goes down.

So much for my fair-weather predictions...but seriously, I guess because we never get much rain here, we're never bothered by some raindrops in Florida; and that is how it's been for us the last 3 summer visits so...

But I guess I should also forewarn you all..."I" a the harbinger of crazy weather...last time we were in Orlando it was SLEETING and FREEZING. Then we came back to Vegas to run a 5k in the (RARE) downpour of rain...

Picking out stuff and unpacking, the worst part of a trip. Picked out some of my stuff today while it rained.

Still haven't rec'd our documents.

Safe travels to all flying in today or tomorrow. Supposed to be more bad storms rolling thru both days, that usually means flight delays. Last nights storms were really bad, fireworks at the MK were over 1 hour late starting.

We got in at 6am (beautiful sunny skies) and crashed at POR all morning but we did get to swim for an hour or so before the rain started. Now at dinner (Uno). So, so nice to finally be on vacation!!!

We never did receive our documents . Got a couple of things to throw into the bag and we will be ready to leave around 9am to drive over.
