June 2009! Who's going?

We'll be there from June 17-22 for both of my kids' birthdays - taking advantage of the Celebrations promo! (They're 12 months apart - my son will be 10 on June 18 and my daughter, 9, on June 21.) We live in California and were going to just drive down to DL but decided to do this instead since we haven't been to WDW since 2007. We're going with my parents, trying the DDP and staying in a moderate (CBR) - all for the first time - looking forward to it!

Oh - and it's going to be a total surprise for the kiddos! They haven't a clue yet - I'm just hoping we can keep it that way for 4 more months!

Our church youth group is going June 15-20. I want to warn everyone.... we are staying at the ASMo. I am excited and kinda dreading it at the same time.Thankfully, my family is going with my parents the last week of May so I can enjoy myself that week. We started planning this trip last summer. I have been in charge of fundraisers. Slowly but surely we are getting the funds. We have sold pumpkins, Christmas trees, held a car show, yard sales, soft ball tournments, a silent auction and I dont know how many doughnuts we have sold. The kids have worked hard so they derserve a great trip. Some of the kids have never been. I love to go with newbies.
We are trying to design a special t shirt to give the kids but havent come up with anything yet. I have been trying to pick out counter service resturants we will all like. I also am trying to come up with some games. My daughter
(17) wants to see who can get the most autographs. I thought we could see who gets the most pictures with cast memebers and characters. Any suggestions???? I also want to play some kind of trivia game on the bus on the way down. We are coming from Atlanta so about an 8 -9 hour drive. A long time to be on a bus with 30 kids.

DH and I surprised our daughter in 2007. On the last day of school we picked her up and went straight to the airport. When I pulled her luggage out of the trunk, and she saw the DL luggage tags she knew where we were going.

Hey! My DH is celebrating his B-Day on the 18th! DS6 will turn 7 on June12th, but didn't want to take him out of school... we are going to surprise him and his little brother, DS3 (will be 4 June 3rd!)

We will be at POP 13th -20th / my and dd (5) second trip in 3 years.. dh first trip since 1995 and ds (3) first trip

OMG, thats the same dates that we are going. WL, first stay there, I can't wait. We ate at Whispering Canyon back when we were there in '06, and I told my husband, when we come back that is the resort that I will stay in.

We're no longer going in June, I'm calling to push our visit off by 2-6 weeks due to school schedules and work... more time to wait, but I'm hoping it'll make the visit that much sweeter

Just booked as we changed our plans.. no more Disneyland.. here we come back to FL!

We are booked June 20-27 at GF and now I can get really excited!!

We will be there the exact same dates and at the GF . Celebrating our honeymoon and my birthday. Can't wait!

You are going to have sooooo much fun. My mom and I took my two boys (then 10 and 5) to POP in June 2007. It was the perfect park for that trip. We stayed in the 60"s section facing the Hippy Dippy Pool and we had less than a 3 minute walk to the food court/bus stop area! My youngest son LOVED the Big Wheel races at the pools in the afternoons and both boys had a blast making new friends at the Ping Pong table in the evenings. It was really fun to have that "special-time" with my Mom and my boys.

DH, DS, DS and I are returning to WDW this JUne and staying at the AKL for the first time. We are excited but my youngest keeps saying he wants to stay at POP (and he wants us to bring Grandmommie).

We'll be there June 5-13 (hopefully!). We booked a room-only reservation for June 12, hoping to stay an extra night and half-day. If we don't get a discount code, we'll probably drop the extra night and leave on the 12th.

Anyway, it will be me (26), DH (29), and DD (8), staying at Pop. This is our second WDW trip.

Also, my mom (57), sister (30), and nephew (3) will be joining us from June 8-11. This is the first trip for all three of them. We've never really traveled together, so it should be very interesting!
