That is even more of a reason to put down a deposit. All deposits are transferable before final payment is due. I had a deposit on the Panal Canal that I made on the Trans-Atlantic last year. I then moved it to the last cruise in 2009 to buy time till the 2010 ones came out. Then at the last minute we decided to switch it to this cruise. By booking on board I got 10% off, $200 shipboard credit and prepaid gratutities.

Now they may not always offer the same thing for booking on board but it is always close to that. Usually always the 10% off and the shipboard credit.

So with that being said you want to book any "throw away" cruise as they are reffered to. All the incentives transfer over with you no matter how many times you change.

Then after paying in full for this one I transfer my reservation to a travel agent and got another $150 shipboard credit on top of everything else I just mentioned.

djdj456 - Did you guys blow away last night and how'd your event go? All that wind here in Vegas yesterday made it a beautiful clear day today...

WE ARE ALMOST IN THE SINGLE DIGITS PEOPLE!!!

We didn't blow away but there are trees down all over the place and all schools were cancelled due to lack of power (that and they want to use up all their weather days!). Today the skys are clear but it is HUMID.

Thanks for asking about the event...it is actually this coming Sunday. The last minute stress has certainy kicked in, but in 4 days we'll be on vacation so I keep reminding myself of that.

I got my CABO Dolphins! For the newcomers, I was bemoaning the fact that Cabo Dolphins was sold out and the only time I could get to swim with the dolphins was in PV but was worried we would miss Pirate Night! I have been checking numerous times daily and this morning, the Cabo Swim was not "blued" out so I got on, got my slots and voila!
Now we are all set for shore excursions, school is winding down (last tests tomorrow), Mom an DN come in this weekend and 2 days of school partying and then we're done!
Cruisin' State of Mind is here and suitcases are out!!!

Woo hoo...glad to hear you got your Dolphins. I am surprised at how much stuff opened up. I wonder why some many people are cancelling. I was actually able to get a Palo Brunch and Dinner in the last few weeks.

Wow! I know what you mean on things opening up 10 days before departure! I think maybe people just held onto things because they weren't sure what they wanted to do or....maybe it's just pixie dust in the making! Whatever it it, I'm happy!

I'm happy for you that you got your dolphin excursion! The friends we are traveling with got it too, and they are really looking forward to it.

I got suitcases out today too, and started putting outfits together and putting them in. What fun!

DD is feeling better, so if the other kids are going to get it, I hope they do it quick!

Seems like this has been going around. I really hope I don't get it. I had it the night before my first Disney Cruise. It was terrible. Stay healthy only 9 days left

I went directly to the DCL website. Anyone use Dreams U, Costco, AAA or any other cruise booking service?

I was wondering where was the best place to book...

We booked through Costco. I'm kind of regretting it. They told us our stateroom had a pull-down bed, but it doesn't. We have three staterooms for 10 people, and were hoping to have two kids in the stateroom with the verandah where DH and I will be. Costco said it would be no big deal, but it is a big deal because there is no 4th bed in that room. Sigh. My fault for poor research, I guess. We'll work it out.

We should get a hefty gift card when we get back, though. So that's a plus!
