I am bringing two large suitcases plus a medium carry on. So excited I am not flying so I can stuff my luggage to the gills

From everything I have read we won't have a problem using US currency in Mexico however, they will not give you change in US Currency so I have been saving all my small bills so I can always pay exact amounts. The exchange rate is about 11:1 but most tourist places just make it 10:1 so the conversion is easy.

So excited just got my formal night gown. I was going to wear the dress I wore in my sisters wedding but than I saw the pictures there was no one I would have subjected you to such a horrid sight. Fortunately, everything was on sale so it didn't cost me too much $$$$ now I just have to get shoes tomorrow

Ok back to packing...don't forget your Over the Door Shoe Holders, Power Strip, Non plug in room deodorizer (for the bathrooms) and of course you Fish Extenders.

I heard from a local that past Encenada that they will still accept US currency, however they will charge you alittle extra. So, the deals will not be as good.

That is fine with me because I don't want to carry around a bunch of pesos. When I get change in pesos, I will just buy "Chicklets" from the kids. 2 packs of 5 are usually 25 cents (2.5 pesos). Beware though, I once had a few kids trying to sell me gum and one of them was trying to pick pocket me!

but, last night DW and DS were sick with fevers and forceful expulsion of the contents of one's stomach through the mouth. I hope I don't get it!

It wasnt good. I was cleaning and doing laundry last night!

I was wondering...how did people here book their cruise?

I went directly to the DCL website. Anyone use Dreams U, Costco, AAA or any other cruise booking service?

I was wondering where was the best place to book...

I booked thru my TA. She doesn't specialize in DCL but she gave us a $200 shipboard credit. I did all the research though and just told her what we wanted so no special service really. We plan to rebook a phantom date on the ship for 09 and switch to 10 once the itins. are out. I'd like to transfer it to a TA if there is a incentive.

Hi Everyone. This is off topic but I am in need of some help.

I have just spent the last 2 days designing a website for my DD. It is finally complete. When I view it on my computer everything is how it should be. When my friend views it on her computer one of the pages is messed up.

I was wondering if anyone could go to this site for me and tell me how it looks on their browser. The page in question is the resume page. On mine it is lined up perfectly, on hers the resume itself covers part of the picture on the page.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can take a second and let me know how it looks on their browser.

IT'S AMAZING! Gosh, she is just a beauty! Everything worked perfectly..resume lined up clicked between gallery, home, etc. and all was fine! Loved the colored, layout...everything was clear and such a nice variety of information and genres!

thanks for checking! I am sooooo happy it is finally fixed. It is something I really wanted to get done before the cruise. Now I have it done and I can move on.

Here's a strange thing: we're leaving tomorrow and we're in very good shape. We've all been planning getting ready here, so there's not THAT much to do. But I still feel all stressed, like I should be getting ready to stay up all night to get ready to go. Maybe it's because after 18 months of planning, it doesn't seem like it's really possible that this could actually be here.

Anybody else having Phantom Stress?? Worrying when there's nothing to worry about??

I know exactly what you are talking about. I am so organized with planning and packing and still the day before I leave I have to go over everything because I fell like I didn't get everything done. I guess it's because we have planned so much that when we're done we don't know what to do

Ahhh,no. I think we will start tonight or tomarrow. I think we need more luggage too. We are used to packing a few bathing suits, t shirts, shorts, sun dresses for Maui. (& no shoes! Slippers and running shoes only. Thongs only)

Oh yeah, lots more to pack than Maui. I think Hawaii is one of the easiest place to pack for...although I still manage to bring about 10 pairs of shoes

Oh Boy...I haven't started packing yet. I kinda know what I'm bringing and I have a few things in the corner of our room but the suitcases aren't coming out until Wednesday after the cleaners leave.
Tomorrow is the last day of school for us so that will ease my mind and get me into vacation mode!
