June 15 '08 Mexican Riv. Cruise

DH and DS will be looking sharp in their black suits, but not wearing tuxes. DS just got his suit for First Communion, so he's really excited to wear it again. I'm really looking forward to formal night. I can't wait to see the kids all dressed up together. DD5 is wearing a beautiful flower girl dress handed down from big sister, and DD12 is wearing a pale pink floor-length dress. I'm wearing a very simple long black dress with spaghetti straps. I love to dress up!

We will be waking up on the MAGIC and having Palo Brunch in about 5 hours :cool1:

Morning everyone :surfweb: Peaking at the Boards to see if anyone's got any navigators up from the May 25th cruise before I have to get dressed for work - ttyl!

Secretkeeper! Thinking of you this week....it's a big one for DD. I bet she's excited!!!!! Hopefully no late nights at work for you this week :goodvibes

Two weeks from now we will be awake walking around deck 10 enjoying our first day at sea.:hyper:

I might have missed this, but in the overall agenda did it include the Palo brunch or the lunch on the day we board?

No it did not! Good thinking!

Palo brunch is at 10:30 on Monday

As for lunch on board...I know lvstitch said that her and Sorcerer Mom will be heading right there...considering I will be at the port before them on the ship before them then I will make it to lunch before them...:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

No seriously...let's take a head count as to who wants to all eat lunch together after boarding. So if you plan on getting to the port early and boarding right away and want to eat lunch together post your screen name & # of people on the boards....

Is that one of the dining rooms? Do you have to reserve a space for that? Do they have a full menu? I have not done this lunch before so I know nothing.

It is ok, I will be there to save your spot at the restaurant....:rotfl:

(I hope everyone knows that this is all in fun, in no way am I being serious. I tend to be very sarcastic. I mean it to be funny, I do not want to offend anyone. :)

I think its funny and I can't wait to hear what time people actually get there and who "wins".:)

It is one of the dining rooms. We do not need to reserve a spot ahead of time, just tell the dining room staff when we get there.

I am almost positive that lunch the first day is a buffet at either topsidders or parrot cay. Parrot Cay will just be able to hold us better.

You have the option of either eating at Topsides (Buffet on Deck 9) or Parrot Cay (dinning room on Deck 3) both serve the same welcome aboard buffet food. I like Parrot Cay better because there is more room and they will seat you. Topsiders is much smaller and you have to get your food first and then sit down which is kind of a pain with all your carry on luggage. However, a lot of people like eating at Topsiders because of the open deck. Since we will get to Parrot Cay before anyone else:hyper:, we could let them know there are people that will be joining us.

Great! We'll we are happy to do either, just let us know what time to meet there as we'll be giving tours to the family when we're not eating. :cool1:

So you're not serious about being the first at the port...:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Of course we know it's all in fun.

Oh that sounds so much nicer than Topsides...I remember it was so packed up there last time. Plus we'll get plenty of time up there for the sail away party and lots of time to get ice cream!!!
