If you have an early flight just let guest services know as soon as you board the ship...after us of course:rotfl2: . Anyone with an early flight it allowed to Disembark first. It should be a problem. Most people have said they were off the ship by 9am.

We filled out all the paperwork with our flight info, our TA put it on our reservation and they told us to check the night before we get off to confirm we'll be in the first group off so I'm sure it will be fine (they got in early last time so that made me feel better) but I just want to make sure as I don't want to miss my flight.

I would still check with guest services as soon as you board. I have had issues in the past where I was told everything was taken care of and then when I boarded it wasn't. Just one less think for you to worry about on your last night.

The covers of the navigators have been posted on the main thread :stitch: titled "Personal Navigators"

Like the others said, check with Guest Services and depending on where your sister in law lives from the port, call her when we dock. On RCCL in April, we docked at 7a. From San Pedro to LAX is 30 minutes MAX on a Sunday morning. Of course if there's an accident, all bets are off!

With a 12:30p flight, you should be fine. You should also see if your airline and/or DCL does the airline check in where you can register/check in the night before on board the ship, leave your bags out like normal, the next morning, claim your bags and then check them in with your airline at the port and you don't have to worry about your checked bags until you arrive home at your own baggage claim. That way when you get to LAX, all you have to do is go through security and get to your gate.

LVStitch - The HS grad in my party believes she knows who your graduate is at school and was very excited if your graduate is who she thinks! She said your grad is so nice and thought the fact they will be on the cruise together is super neat!

You are thinking of Socerer's Mom. However, if she has eaten the pizza in the student store lately she has had my husband's pizza:cutie:

Oops maybe yes. I read out your last name and there was a student with that last name. I got confused!

I'm so glad they try to get people off the ship by 9:30! We requested to be the first ones off the ship because our flight is out of LAX at 12:30pm and I'm a little worried about it. What time do we get into port (or do they start letting people off the ship)? My DSIL is picking us up and taking us to the airport so I'm trying to make sure she gets there at the right time.

If you get off the ship at 9:30am,that is pleanty of time to get to LAX(20 min drive on a sunday), through security and be at the gate.

**I will check at work if there are any closures on the 105 FWY for a movie or commercial shoot.(they are usually Sundays) This will make a delay. There are ways around it though.

I haven't started to pack yet. I am thinking about making a check off list. I am still working on FE gifts too.

But, before the cruise we are having our little one's 2nd birthday this weekend. I have to get that all settled before the cruise! Not to mention getting through 2 more work weeks for me plus a 2 days of training.

I know I will forget something for the cruise. Just hope it is not my underwear!!

:scared1: :scared1: That would be my husbands worst nightmare:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No it did not! Good thinking!

Palo brunch is at 10:30 on Monday

As for lunch on board...I know lvstitch said that her and Sorcerer Mom will be heading right there...considering I will be at the port before them on the ship before them then I will make it to lunch before them...:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

No seriously...let's take a head count as to who wants to all eat lunch together after boarding. So if you plan on getting to the port early and boarding right away and want to eat lunch together post your screen name & # of people on the boards....

Brooklyn - 4

Secret Keeper - 5

mmmmm...ice cream....can't wait to get ice cream:cloud9:

So has anyone started packing yet? I have packed all my toiletries, bathing suits and cover up. I am hoping to be finished this weekend (since it's that last full one we have:cool1: ) The last thing to go in my luggage will be all my dresses, which are all organized and ready to go in my closet. I also started putting together my fish extender gifts. Oh gosh, I am getting why to excited...don't know how much work is going to get done in the next two weeks.

With DD graduating this week I thought I should start giving it some thought. I have all DS4 dinner clothes, new short outfits, Swim stuff, Pirate costume ironed and put in a basket. Regular clothes, jammies and other stuff will wait until closer. If I pull out his suitcase and yes he knows which one is his, I do not think I will get a moments break. As it is we read the memory book from last cruise every night and count the rings on our count down chain constantly. I came home and started ironing my stuff today. I would like to say I'm really organized but the reality is I really DISLIKE ironing. Half of my closet has needed ironing for a long time so I'm using this as an excuse. Also I'll get it from my mom when she see's how sloppy the clothes look. I may be 42 but she is still mom. She is 81 and she irons everything! She always looks wonderful but I just don't have the energy she does at almost twice my age :rotfl:

Once graduation is over I'm in full cruise mode:banana:

I'd like to know this too. I was planning to book on board anyway and then change the date once the 2010 itineraries came out but if they have a really good deal....maybe I can eek in a 2009 cruise :rolleyes1

I have started to pack. My list (which is the longest...duh) is done so I know what I'm taking and that's half the battle. I've started to take some of DS's clothes out of circulation so I can get it in the suitcase. That means doing laundry a little more of often :laundy: but worth knowing it's packed. DH is not packed but since his stuff can fit in a plastic grocery bag (or so he claims) that should take no time at all  DD has to try on her shorts...she has slimmed down a couple of sizes with swimming this year and she wasn't big to begin with so she's got to try on her shorts (I should have such problems). As long as they don't slip off her when she walks we should be good. If you ask her tho, she has NOTHING to wear :sad2: Toiletries are getting finished up with this weekend, FE stuff and DH wants to pack our beverage carry on...he's in charge of that one. I DO NOT want to be responsible for breaking a good bottle of wine or even worse his JD

AirTita - I feel you pain with end of year school stuff...finished up the last of our school obligations (other than graduation) last week...hang in there, it'll be over soon...think MAGIC!!! :bitelip:

That's OK, she and DD can swap clothes. They both will have new wardrobes!

We have a fluffy child, in addition to the non-fluffy one! Your two are adorable! Ours is a little Bichon/mutt from the Pasadena Humane Society. We'll have a picture of her on our door, adorned in her Dodger gear (she was on the jumbo screen in a contest at the stadium). popcorn::

I had a BLAST shoppin' till I dropped at DL last week, and I can't wait to pass out the goodies to you fine folks! I hope that someone likes Disney!! :rotfl2: Our fish extender arrived on Saturday, and it hangs in the living room, where we see it all the time! Our DS wants to go to San Pedro AGAIN this Sunday, but he has a graduation luncheon, so he'll just have to wait that extra week.

Thanks for the great magnet templates everyone. Now I just need to go to Michael's and find this "magnet paper" (not very crafty here). :confused3

As for lunch on day one, my DH & DS don't want me to overschedule them. They are so anxious to explore the ship! Don't count on us, but I'll stop by if I can. I owe all of you wonderful organizers a drink (or two . . . . or twelve)!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Office Depot has it as well!

You will be fine. DCL has it really orgainzed. In Barcelona we were the first group to get off the ship. They even opened the buffet up for us extra early to have breakfast and be off the ship before 6am. You will be fine. I drive all over LA all the time. The traffic can be bad but you do not have that far of a distance. You should be fine.

Exactly!!!! j/k
