Hi everyone

Just checking in from the MAGIC

We had an awesome Sail Away Park and Dis Meet this afternoon on Deck 10, Starboard side of the ship.

Lots of goodies were given out by several DIS'ers -

We are at sea all day tomorrow and lots of activities planned.

Dinner at Animators Pal. tonight - the show was great when Mickey came out at the end

For those cruisers who are interested, there will a Double Scoop of Castaway Cay for a week - every month during the summer

Cars will be shown onboard on Tuesday and the pins for Cars, five of them, were released tonight onboard in the shop.

There will be a new Captains AC pin that will be coming out on Tuesday (possibly on Wednesday) and I understand it is a very nice pin

One of the DIS'ers in our group (3Dan - Bill & dear wife) has her grandmother onboard with us

and she was 100 years old on May 10th - they listed her as a VIP

AND THIS IS HER FIRST CRUISE EVER ------------------

the attention is something that has to be seen. We hardly can't get from point A to point B without it taking an extra 30 minutes

There are 9 of us sitting at our table and we are at the front of the dining room and no one passes by without striking up a conversation

Was told by a CM that a memo went around to all the officers and managers that she was onboard and to look for her

Just lost my GM a year ago at 100 plus a month. Would have loved to have taken her with us but she wasn't into the trips. Sharp as a tack to the end though.

good morning - yes, we missed you yesterday at the DIS met on Deck 10 - you were in the Bulletin I prepared for everyone and as we looked at it - we kept saying, where is Tynkerbel - I told them that you had to cancel and rescheduled for December.

got up early this morning and strolled the deck - wind is kicking up pretty good outside - there is a storm brewing and I hope it stays away from us.

We're having Brunch at Palos with some Dis'ers - 1st one for the week

Another planned for Thursday

Everyone is lined up for the first Character Breakfast. The line is all the way downt he hall past Promenade Lounge. Am sitting at the solo computer unit and people are anxiously waiting to get in

Having breakfast delivered to the room so better go and check on it

Sounds like a great cruise so far! Is the announcement about the double dip cruises in addition to the ones that are already scheduled? Just wondering because there is a DD cruise every month thru December.

Dixieslanding...you are on the DIS. People post on cruise meets threads here before their cruise & plan get togethers onboard &/or before at the hotel. These are called DIS meets.

It is nice seeing your reports. I feel so sad -- we have only been off the Magic for a week and I miss it already

We are also on the cuise and having a great time. Kay did a WONERFUL job on the meet and even have color bulletins for us all!!!!!! We have 11 at out table for dinner and had a great time. They are all people I met on the June 10th and we linked our ressies.

So far the weather has been great. I see there is a Tropical something out there but I don't think will bother us??!!

Tonight is formal night so we'll let you know how everyone cleans up!!

We went ot Mickey Mania last night and Pickey was there. He was very happy that England had just won the World Cup!!

Well DD needs to go get her hair braided so we are off to Deck 9 and hair braiding!!!!

FYI..............

We were on the 5/27 double scoop cruise. If you like a mojito........go to the Prom. Lounge, and ask ALI to make you one! He is the best, with JEZ coming in a close 2nd!

Also........ask ALI to make you his new concoction....."The Southern Devil". He invented it, and made it for me.....LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you will too, if you like a fruity drink, that you don't taste the alcohol)
