Hi! I noticed your post because we are thinking about staying at the Nick Hotel before the cruise also. We were there last summer and my girls loved it! We have three daughters also (ages 7,8, and 12) . We're right near you in Louisiana. Looking forward to meeting you !

It looks like girls will be plentiful on this cruise!!!! We have 10 kids in the families we are traveling with and six of them are girls!!! We can't wait to meet all of you! My kids are so excited! They're online everyday looking at all things DISNEY DREAM!!!! I think I'm going to have to tie them down by the end of May!

Last year on the "Wonder" my son spent most of his time hanging out with kids up on the sports courts. He is 12. We had to go up there and get him at midnight every night. They had a blast!

I'm trying to even up the boy/girl ratio-lol. I am bringing 4 of them- one will be 14 and one will have just turned 16 2 weeks earlier ( plus a 12 and 18 year old)

I'm bringing 3 girls- 15 almost 16, 13 almost 14, and 12. You never know some of the boys might like hanging out will all of those girls. Boys can surprise you!

Actually....on our last cruise they reluctantly went to our dis-meet on the first day of the cruise. They met some daughters of some women I had met on disboards ( and more so on our facebook cruise group). They ended up hanging out with the girls the entire cruise and still correspond with them now!

I know is dificult now because they are all wrapped up in school stuff.
But maybe later on we can hook them up in facebook.

We are staying at BAy LAke by the Contemporary 2 days before the cruise.
we are getting to the port around Noon on the June 3rd.
On this first part of the B2B we will have 14 of us.
For the second part there will be only 11 of us.

David(16) is an avid fisherman so HE might be doing the morning Fishing trip on Castaway the first Stop there on the week of June 3rd.

That would be great for them to "meet"! We are going to WDW for a week after the cruises. We are some of those crazy people who get to the terminal before 10:00- so we will be there when you get there. Feel free to add me on fb ( my real name is Carol Davis) and you can see what my family looks like- on our last cruise we did this and we had several disboarders find us in the terminal! We have 8 people going on the first cruise ( well, that is family. I have 12 friends joining us also but our reservations aren't linked). On the second cruise we will have 17 family members.

Hi everyone!

Being first time cruisers, we are the last to book excursions and get to start online check in. I will be online at midnight March 20 hoping to get the sea lion excursion for ds (9). I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a spot for the two of us!

I had a question regarding the selection of port arrival time. I understand that pickup at akl would be somewhere around noonish, but I read that some have taken dme to the airport and then taken a dcl bus to port from there in order to arrive earlier. We are early risers so are considering this. Have any of you ever done this and if so, do you feel it was worth it to arrive earlier?
