I have already researched this question, but I could not find the answer I was looking for. My family is going to disney in July. It will either be the week of July 8th or July 22nd. The touring plans site had the ranked at the same crowd level. Is that correct or is there a slight difference in crowds? Thanks for your help.

I'd trust what the Touring Plans website says; they have a great track record for accuracy.

we usually travel during the time period you asked about and we havent noticed any significant drop in crowd levels during those weeks. we have found that by using the info obtained on the Dis and by using the EMH schedule you will have a great time. july is a peak month so planning is important. its hot, crowded but i cant think of a better place to be in july

I love going in July!

We have gone twice in July and this year are going over the 4th of July. I think the crowds will be similar at both times you mentioned.

It will be crowded, so my advice to you is to get to the parks at opening and use fastpasses wisely. Also, make your ADRs for dining early (I am making mine on January 3). But if you're not a planner, don't worry, the first time we went we sort of winged it and hence went on a lot less rides. We still loved it.

We are going in July (we are teachers, no options- ha). It will be hot and crowded, but if you pace yourself, you will have a great time, just take breaks when you need them and don't push yourselves. Maybe we will see you there!!

Thanks for your help. I did not figure there would be much difference, but my Mom wanted me to check. We are going for my graduation trip and we have not been in July in several years. We did go in June two years ago, and I think we can handle it. The heat does not really bother us since we are from the south. I'm just going to have to plan a little more than usual.

Have gone in July a few times and it is manageable as long as you take the advice of the other posters, take your time and utilize the Fast Pass.
You will also find that Magic Kingdom and MGM stay open later than in the winter months. This makes it easier to visit in the morning, leave mid afternoon when the heat and crowds are at their peak, swim, relax, eat dinner and then return around 6:00. The number of people usually start to drop off hour by hour.
