July anyone ever gotten a GREAT rate?

We have decided to take the kids to WDW this July. Our DS just loves it. We have to have a handicapped access room. Anyone get great rates for a July Mod stay? One year I know we used an AP rate and it was good. Another we had a pin and it was good. I thought I read that all the AP rates were about the same as Rack Rate?? Anyone?? I think we are going July 10-17. Would love to know the history of rates paid as we are considering AP if they make a difference.

AP rates are NOT the same as rack rate at ALL.

There can be PIN codes or other offers than are sometimes better than AP rates.. sometimes not.

Generally speaking - when available - AP rates are one of the better deals going.

I just found out that a convention we are attending has just been re-located from NYC to the Hilton WDW. I didn't think we would be going to WDW next year at all, so this is FAB.

We want to stay for close to two weeks and it will be from 6/30 thru approx 7/12. I have booked the AAA rate before and it was not a bad deal. What might the AP rate discount be? Any other suggestions?

All most forgot, we will probably stay at POP. Maybe at the Hilton for the first 4 days for the convention.

Well, I'm a FL resident AP holder and last night I got an AllStar Music family suite for $108 including tax.....I'd say that's pretty good. I bought it in August and that sucker has already paid for itself in discounts.

Is that just an AP rate or is there something extra for FL residents? Also, is that in value season or when?
