It should be a very fun and relaxing cruise!!

BTW....We just got out luggage tags yesterday....just in case anyone was looking for them to come in the mail. However, the luggage tags come from Lake Buena Vista close to Disney World in Orlando and we reside in Orlando so it might be another week before everyone else starts to recurve their cruise packet.

Yes, we're in Jax Florida and got our luggage tags Friday. My son still does'nt know we are going. It's going to be his birthday on July 6th.

If jaime doesn't add you in the next few days, I'll do a new list (using her previously wonderful effort as my reference) and add you guys to it. Currently, our plan is to meet at Vista Café at 2 p.m. on departure day (7 July) for a quick "hello" before we all get busy doing other activities. I made a list for distributing FE goodies a few posts earlier, and the thinking was we would hand out goodies only the first three days to leave the fourth day free to pack without worrying about any new items. So, if you simply want to choose a day to join in, please let me know which one. Otherwise, I can slide you into one of the days we already have. Again, glad you found us!

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we've had to reschedule our cruise. I've removed our information from the FE gift exchange, so at this time, there are only 6 staterooms participating. Since we were such a small group, I decided not to do a spreadsheet. At this time, there are only 2 missing stateroom numbers. If bethybobs and Casey6495 will provide these numbers, I will be happy to update this information for everyone. If someone else would like to take over from there, it would be greatly appreciated! I'm sorry that we won't be able to meet everyone and participate in this gift exchange. As a newbie, I've tried my best to keep things organized for everyone and I hope someone will be able to take over and make this a successful FE for everyone! Also, here's a travel note worth, well, noting. Unless DCL has changed things since our trip in 2011, the driving directions are slightly wrong. On the website and in their mailed documents, DCL directs you that once in Port Canaveral follow signs to Terminal A, but we discovered on our last cruise (and verified by repeated viewings of our cruise trip video), that the terminal is actually Terminal 8. Perhaps it has changed since our cruise, but if not, just be aware of that slight difference. Either way, the signage does correctly indicate the way to Disney Cruise Line, so no worries.

Time to watch the Dream sail away again on the Port Canaveral webcam. Just nine more sail away parties on Disney ships (or four if you only count the Dream) before we sail! [It should be noted that according to Official Countdown Rules of Walter, one may not count the actual day one is on nor the beginning day of one's adventure.]

I believe it is not too late and we can add you to the list.....I think, if I remember correctly, we were all going to stop the list midway through June to allow everyone to get their FE gifts completed for the exchange.

Just provide the information that has been provided previously by everyone else and you should be fine.......

No! Welcome Aboard!! We don't have plans to cut off the FE exchange list for another week, and then just to have some arbitrary time to make sure everyone can finish their FE lists.

As RG said above, just provide us with some basic info such as you've probably seen in the lists on this thread. For example, many in this group are cruising for the first time, have certain Disney characters they like more than others, and are celebrating an auspicious event.

If you haven't read it on this thread, we are also planning a quick meet and greet at the Vista Café on #4 Deck at 2 p.m. the day we leave port just to put faces to names. If you can join us, that would be lovely!

Yay! The party is growing! I just got my door magnets in today. I ordered the Mickey body parts from FEGifts on Etsy. They are so cute! I didn't know anything about decorating the door or Fish Extenders the last time we cruised, so getting ready this time has been fun.
On another note, is anyone else a DVC member?

I was thinking that since we are a small group I'd do a stateroom gift with some local flavor and then do some smaller individual craft things for individuals.

Here are what we did for FE gifts....nothing special but I made them myself....bottlecap magnets!!!

I put three of the bottlecap magnets in with a little card and a few pieces of candy in a small jewelry bag....nothing special.

I made about 47 of these packages so each stateroom will get 2-3 packages since we are a small group....the other little packages will go to cast members and other people on the ship randomly I figure.... =)

I'm going to try to spread some joy around!!!
