Well, luv and I aren't crafty at all (well, I'm not at all, and she is a little but works long hours), so we went with inexpensive, mostly Disney-related items, trying to match the likes of each person.Ok folks, I have a question. What kind of FE are you gifting??? I am not creative at all and I'm having some issues coming up with ideas. I thought about a little homemade gift to represent our state, but I don't want it to look too homemade and silly. Whatcha all think??!!
Yes, and can you tell where?amyd219 said:On another note, is anyone else a DVC member?
They look great!Thanks.....I'm not the most crafty person in the world but I made them with the little time I had between various things I had going on.
It took a lot of time for the glue to dry but it was an interesting project from start to finish.

As we merely are one, JUST 1, month away from our cruise, I am posting a few pics from our past cruise. . .
These are great! I'll have to hurry and get my 10 posts so I can share few. I spent some time today working on FE gifts....getting excited!

Yep, we have a scrapbook, as well, thanks to luv's talents. Now that school is over for you, find those flip-flops, put on some sun screen, and kick back.We look at our scrap book bought on the ship all the time to get us excited. Can't wait! Today was my last day of summer school so now I am really getting excited!
Ha! Luv (Chris) has joked about us retiring and heading down to Florida one day, saying I'd make a great bus driver or boat operator since I, too, enjoy chatting with folks. She'd make a great hostess somewhere. I originally bought direct into DVC at SSR nearly a decade ago (no longer own those points), but Chris and I have a special bond with VWL, and we bought there three years ago via resale. We're actually looking to do an add-on, but small contracts there are extremely difficult to come by. Where do you own?amyd219 said:Yes, I just went back and read your Disney Wedding thread, so I see how much you love the VWL. We actually joined DVC on our first cruise 5 years ago. It was our 15th anniversary present to ourselves. We figured after a honeymoon at WDW and 8 subsequent trips we might as well invest in the magic. Nick plans to retire there and drive a bus. He would be one of those chatty old men who keeps you entertained while traversing the resorts. Haha.

We own at Animal Kingdom Villas, but we've only been able to stay there once. I don't always plan early enough to book my home resort. We have stayed at SSR, but the rooms we had badly needed refurbishing. AKV is my favorite by far. We loved spending the first few hours of the day watching the animals graze. hoping one day to make the trip to Hawaii. ;-)sleepydog25 said:Where do you own?

On a different note, you've likely discovered by now that if you hit the "quote" button on the bottom right of any post, it will automatically set you up to respond to that particular post. For multiple quotes on the same post, you have to do a little copy/paste action, then type in the name of the person using the same format as the automatic quote process, e.g.,person's name said:Copy/paste verbiage [**QUOTE]. (** means /, but if I had typed it in, then it would have given the quote box.)

Yep, getting some much needed sun before the drive to Florida in a few short weeks.
Also, do we know for sure yet how many are in our FE group?? Thanks!
21 by my last count (in 7 staterooms). However, CBaylor asked a few days ago if it was too late to join, and we said there was still time just get us your info regarding travelers, stateroom, etc. However, as you can tell, he/she hasn't come back to post. For now, I'd definitely count on 21, but with an eye toward adding a few others. We went ahead and secured a few more items for CBaylor, hoping that they will join our group.Yep, getting some much needed sun before the drive to Florida in a few short weeks.

If anyone has a request for something from Australia please let me know. I believe Vegemite is really tasty and something everyone should try![]()
Never tried it! Anything smacking of Australia would be lovely, even a small coin (my 12-yr old has a small collection of world coins). About time to go watch the Dream leave port!I really like the idea of gifts from your home state, handmade gifts, disney related gifts.... ok so clearly I am not picky and just like gifts
I will be doing something relating to Australia. I already have a few cute items and then probably some Aussie lollies (candy).
