We are paid in full today. Now just waiting for our day to book excursions. WOW we must be getting close!!

Smart move you saved alot by using Disney, the airfare has gone up so much since I booked ours last year. Are you flying Co out of EWR?

we think we've narrowed down our excursions:
In Juneau we're going to do the Mendenhall Glacier Adventure Hike, Skagway the Whitepass Scenic Railway and in Ketchikan the Bear Creek Zipline. Since we'll have a couple of days in Vancouver, we're hoping to get to the Capilano Suspension bridge.
We went to Alaska several years ago, and went to Liarsville then, it was great fun. Almost decided to do it again. I've always wanted to zipline, but never managed to do it( in other words - chickened out!) - this time, I'm going for it

You beat me. Everything is booked. I would have liked a different spa time, but those couple villas go fast. It will not break my DH heart if he has to have some spa time in the afternoon instead of in the morning. We will be nice and relaxed for supper that day!

Yes I was able to get our first choice. I had gone in yesterday and marked the excursions we wanted (you can save to favorites) and those are what I booked.

Here's our line up:

Day 2 (sea day) - hot stone massage for Mark and I (separate appointments back to back).

Day 3 (Tracy Arm) - Palo Brunch

Day 4 Skagway - Yukon Suspension Bridge, City and White Pass Railway (early morning adult only excursion)

Day 5 Juneau - Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest

Day 6 Ketchikan - Saxman Native Village and Lumberjack Show (adult only departure).

Palo dinner - 8 pm (since we'll get back from our excursion after our normal dinner time.

Day 7 (at sea) Palo High Tea


This is the most I've ever booked for a cruise.

The only thing that I was disappointed on was that we prefer to spa in the morning, but the afternoon will be fine too. The Couples Villa has an outside area, so it may end up warmer since we are doing it in the afternoon. The excursions we booked were straight forward except the Crab Feast is from 1:45 to 6:45pm, but we are in port until 7:30 pm and should have plenty of time to get back to the ship. It is just that I am so used to having to get back to the ship by 3 or 4, so it is just a little different. That way we can explore Ketchikan a little before we go on our excursion. Not much longer now!

Can you please confirm the time of Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake Featuring Exclusive Disney Character Experience? Is it still 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM?

Also, can anyone who is platinum tell me what time DCL is offering the White Pass Train and Bike Tour in Skagway? Did you notice any other significant changes to excursion times then what was previously reported by earlier cruisers?

I don't think you'll have time to explore before and catch a DCL excursion. They usually meet 15-20 minutes before departure time and according to what I read on the main board we don't get in that day until 1:15. We are also one of 5 ships in port that day.

Yes Liarsville is 8:45-11:45. If we do not get to explore Ketchikan, oh well. My husband and my children are die hard crab eaters and so excited to eat their fill and make their crab shell mountain. My daughter has even been asking about their anatomy. No telling what they will ask the guide. LOL!

Thank you. I am trying to see if it is possible to do both the 8:45 Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake Featuring Exclusive Disney Character Experience and the afternoon White Pass Train and Bike Tour.
