July 4th Park Hours

I was just checking the WDW website for park hours, and was very surprised to see that Epcot will only be open until 9pm. In so many years past, the park has been open until 10pm, even during slower years. Why this year is it only open until the regular closing time as every other day?

wow that is a surprise bc that also means a change in the fireworks schedule. wasnt the magic kingdom always at 9 on the 4th???

They have flipped the hours this year. Wishes on the 4th is scheduled now for 10 pm and Illuminations is scheduled for 9 pm. I would keep checking the disney site.

I hope there is a chance that they will still keep the park open until 10pm. We always counted on that day to get to do more because Epcot was open later!
