Oh my! You have great restraint! I lasted until about February before my kids found out.

Believe me it's been HARD!!!! I've almost slipped up many times. I haven't even told anyone where we are going. Everyone thinks we are going to Virginia on vacation.

Dreams, Twice Charmed and Villains Tonight are the shows on the Magic.

Just booked! We're super excited. I probably haven't searched enough, but I can't find the show schedule. Does anyone know what nights these shows are performed?

Not sure what nights the shows will be yet. The first 8nt. cruise disembarks tomorrow. Hopefully we will have more information after they post some info.
I know July 31 is Pirate night (Nassau) so no show that night. And I HIGHLY doubt they will have any on Aug 2 (PC/WDW day).

Saw the Villians show before and I have mixed feelings about it. The special effects are great and the dancing is wonderful but to me the storyline was just ok

One of the things I liked about doing a B2B was knowing if I loved a show, I could see it again, and if I didn't, we had the opportunity to do something else. The Villians show was the one we skipped the second time. I agree, the music and effects were great, but I just didn't get that "I can't wait to see it again" feeling.

Some highlights from NJGIRL:
We had character breakfast on the 2nd sea day..I know some didn't have it until the 2nd to the last sea day though as our server let us know that.

The shows were (in order) twice charmed (1st sea day/formal night), villains tonight, walt disney dreams come true (night before WDW day), and Disney dreams (2nd to last night).

We also had PUB NIGHT last night in Rockin Bar D. They said this was the first time in a year it's been performed on the Magic.



Not sure if anyone mentioned it..but dining arrangements on WDW day were interesting. They had Lumieres open for ala carte open seating like they do at lunch (Master Chef menu) and Parrot Cay had a Buffett. They were open til about 9:30. Topsiders opened up at 9pm and was supposed to stay open until Midnight.


If anyone wants the menus - we had the 3 theme dining room dinners, prince and princess (formal night), Captain's gala (semi formal night), Master chef (WDW day), Til we meet again (last night), Pirate menu (Nassau day).

I have taken our information off of the FE spreadsheet. Dawn, please remove us from the FB page. Hope you all have a magical trip. I will shed a tear on July 28th knowing you are all off for a wonderful adventure without us. Have fun everyone. I apologize to those of you who were very prepared and may have been working on FE gifts for my family! Life stinks at times!

Less than 50 days left - does anyone know if I can bring bottled water on board and are soft sided coolers allowed? I was going to use the cooler to carry some wine and maybe bring a case of water but sure if that is allowed. thanks

Yes you can however you need to carry it until your room is ready.

I have read that the water on board does not taste bad. I plan on bringing water bottles instead of bottled water.

I bought some of the fold flat water bottles that look more like bags with spouts. They have carabiner clips on them so that you can hook them to your bag or belt. I have read a couple trip reports re: the May 25 sailing. (GOOD INFO!)
One person stated that some people signed up for FE but never gave gifts. I don't know how true that is, but I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page. I assumed it was a given, but if not I will say it anyway... If you are on the list, you are expected to give a little something, not just receive!!!

Along those lines, I have been going back and forth on how to 'distribute' the gifts (any day you want; assigned days, etc). I have decided in order to keep the Magic going all cruise long to assign days. I don't want to make things too rigid since this is all for fun, so I will divide the cruise in half, as well as the list. Therefore, everyone will have a period of 3-4 days to deliver their items, either the first or the last.
I know not everyone will be happy with this, but I was reading other posts, I feel this will be the best. If someone has an issue with this, please feel free to let me know.
