Hello all Back as the repo thread would say tried to KETCHUP, you have been busy, some maybe to busy posting to get numbers up.

Leave you a day or so and everyones cheating and with so many teachers around!

We set our alarm for 2:55 am and tried to get on to make Palo reservations. They didn't add any availability for Palo or excursions. I looked to see if new cruisers were complaining about not being able to book Palo or excursions but there doesn't seem to be anything.
However, this morning we called our TA and changed our room to a Cat 12. they are refunding us almost $3000. There seems to be lots of room on the ship and they have dropped the price of the Cat 12 to 3700. for 2 people.
The savings will pay for our excursions, tips and other costs on board.

TG, Helen is going back to work.........has anyone noticed how she "passed" me in posts since she's been off??? Personally, at this point, I need to take a leave to catch up!! Perhaps, now she'll be tired after work and not post so often........... (JKJKJKJKJK) (Don't forget, I'll be done school a WHOLE month before you!!

Kyla (Jeanne), I really think you and CPer(Brian) have done an outstanding job organizing, designing and checking to see what everyone wants, etc.....I don't think the cruise staff is spending their time checking for lanyard infringements..........(they're too busy at the adult pool, chasing out the youngins' ) Worse case scenario.........let's wear them when we're on excursions when we're off the ship! I know Laura was just trying to help but it's a really big ship!!

Sorry about the flight cancellation, we are leaving on the 8th at around 12...remember, you can leave the ship really early on departure day....I'm more worried about our arrival time (early Saturday morning).....BTW, we are traveling out of Philadelphia, nonstop to BAR for under $1000. I have decided to switch to CAT 12....my TA Sue Ellen at Dreams is going to do this in the morning for me.

I just e-mailed Sue Ellen (does anyone use her at Dreams?? she is awesome and takes such good care of me) we have been batting back and forth on e-mail all night.....I decided to switch to CAT 12 I save about $5300.....and that will pay for the extra airfare. I wish I could use that $5300 to pay for excursions.....but all in all this is just better for my family. This is really no ones fault...just one of the little bumps in life.

How can I complain?? I am going to spend 2 weeks in the MED on a Disney cruise.....WHO cares if I have a balcony or a window or an inside room???

I have thought a lot about this tonight....I watch two families who live less than a mile from me bury their children last month after a crazy gunman killed them at the school my son will attend. I have nothing to complain about. My family is safe and happy and we are going on vacation.

I use Kelise at Dreams. Shes the west coast Disneyland expert.

Good luck returning on Monday. I'm sure the kids will be thrilled to see you. Just take it easy for a few days. You will be more tired than normal until your body gets used to the routine.

Best of luck with the flights. We are flying Iberia out of JFK on the 25th and back on the 8th. The fare is more expensive now, but better than nothing.

Once you board the ship, go right to Palo. If you still can't get anything, keep checking back each day. They always have cancellations. Good Luck.

Best of luck with the BP. Once DH's was under control, those awful headaches were gone. Stress is a big part of it. Relaxing is easier said than done.

I must say thats the one thing we clearly noticed when we first went to Orlando - the air condition. Its not like in europe we dont have it but I dont think they have it as cold as the USA .
Drink plenty of water and im sure you'll be fine.
Its really important to pace yourself . I was talking to my cousin yesterday who has done a couple of med cruises before. She said all the excursions can be exhausting, so dont try to do too much. Remember its a holiday and try to relax and chill out.

Not sure if you all have seen the transatlantic posts and threads, dont worry, but the Magic is in heavy seas, large waves, and the crew deck is reported to be taking in some sea water and the crew have to walk through it to their mess.

Reports Cptn Tom is speeding up to get to Canaries quicker.

Back to work for me ...

Kelsie has been very good and proffesional for me, she went out of her way to secure me a good numbered stateroom on the 2008 repo.

When I book my flights for 2008, most likly September, I will get a quote from Kelsie for Disneyland, not sure fully about it as yet, but maybe 3/4 nights pre cruise in August 08.

I stayed at Grand Californian before, might try Disneyland hotel this time.

no, no im fine other than pink eye, allergy and sinus season-

I just that Im worried about the high summer temps Ive been reading about in Italy and France during the summer months and further reading about the lack of central air conditioning Jimmy will be carrying me throughout the excursions I think ,as I pass out from heat exhaustion

my central air is my best friend in the summer months here - and we rarely reach 90 degrees-

Ill be filling up our excursion cars with hundreds of water bottles There may not be enough room for alice ,stephen and carley
