to all you folk debating DLP before or after the cruise a factor I would take into consideration is the British school holiday period, I have no idea when the rest of Europe break for the summer but I'm sure the Brits will add significantly to the crowds after the cruise whereas the week before only a few schools will have already finished.. I don't know if that helps or not, If your kids like theme parks and you want somewhere to go after the cruise you may want to look at PortAdventura which is the European Universal park. It is really near Barcelona to the south on the coast it has it's own water park and if you stay in the resort hotels it's own private beach. We have never been so | don't know if anyone else can review it but it's something we're considering for a bit of fun and relaxation when we get off the ship. Mind you I'm sure the school holidays will mean this is pretty crowded as well.

Funny thng i was just looking at my picutres from DLP last time I visited in October 2005, and there is a photo of my kids at a halloween display set up like a travel agent, and it has various Disney itesms on it.

Part of it is a large picture saying WITCH CRUISE LINE? with a picutre of the Disney Magic and a witch on it? Considering the Med cruises it most likly was telling a story then.

PALOS

I am just under the required number need two more parties of two to join if interested PM me with DCL ressie no and your names.

Hey Andrew, I know my parents are interested. Let me get their ressie numbers and get back to you! :)

Lynn, about the European Universal park - is that really owned by Universal or just like it?

As far as I am aware it is the same owners Uinversal and is on the spainsh coast down from Barcellona. I looked at the rides and a lot are the same.

If planing for shore trips in the Med next year celebrity has a site with many of the ports of call on it. Lots of options and costly private tours.

Thank you for this info. I think this will probably be our only opportunity to hit DLP. Anyways, we're used to crowds, we've go to Disneyland a lot, and there have been tons of people for the 50th anniversary

Thanks so much for this link. I started looking at sites yesterday, and there's a lot of info. I wanted to get something "clean".

Also, note that I am capturing these links and adding them to the Excel list that is on JoAnn's first post.

Also, I have a powerpoint uploaded that shows cabins that has DISers - but I didn't put the names with the cabins. Not sure if people would want to have that.

Maybe people who want to be on the powerpoint showing their cabin, but don't want their number publicized on the Excel list can let me know via pm? Note that it takes awhile for the powerpoint to show right now because it's graphic intensive.

Cabins marked where DISers are staying

I am not good with the computer either :confused3 -

I have tried more than once to open the spreadsheet - can't do it. Will have to ask Wendy (Disneymagic316) - perhaps one of her sons or dh can help :sad2:

I have our cabin numbers but not in front of me at the time. Will post soon. We also received our DVC confirmation on Saturday.

Thx to Lynn & Andrew for the theme park links, I will be checking them out! We have to decide if we are going to tour around before the cruise. Both ideas are really coo1! :thumbsup2

This is going to be so much fun!! :cheer2:

No problem for once we might have more info over here than you have in the USA

I agree Andrew only too happy to help in return for all the excellent info we have received for our US Disney vacations in the past.

Andrew and family sound like your best bet for Disneyland Paris, I'm afraid I'm not a big fan.

Hi Lynn...

Tif here. What does "chuffed" mean??? We were lucky to become friends with Laura and Jason on the Magic...Park West at Sea. Laura is originally from London and spoke so beautifully. There is such melody in words! Anyway, would love to expand my vocabulary!

Hey Lynn..........so are u saying that "It's" not worth it??? :confused3
