Welcome to the thread all the new posters.
Life's really hectic here in the UK we're coming into our final 7 weeks of school
So I'm not on a lot. I'm away on a residential for the next week but I'll try and post after that.
Not sure about transport options for Cornwall butI would think a car would be best. A lot of the roads in Cornwall are extremely narrow and probably not what you are used to, but alot of fun, so bear that in mind if you hire a car. I'll see what other options you would have from London when I get back.
Whilst we're on the hire car train of thought, there is a car ferry from Portsmouth and one from Dorset which goes overnight to Spain it would then be a reasonably short drive to Barcelona, no need to worry about weight limits this way!
Maybe we should hire our own DIS coach and driver! London to Paris to Barcelona. LOL
I'm an official techie. I make PCs happier by fixing them.jlawall said:It looks like we have a lot of teachers on this thread. What does everyone else do for a living???![]()
I have been to Italy before staying in Sorrento which is just down form Naples one of the stops and close to Pompeii and Amalfi drive. We did those and a day trip to Rome and it was most enjoyable.tomspixie said:OOPS, one more thing...
Anyone in our group ever been to Italy before??? We will be traveling with friends that went last year. So they may be a little in the know.

The Italian people are nice, the currency now of course is the Euro, but words of warning the car drivers there their skills are not good and where they are good is aiming at you, ( any Italians sorry if I offend).

Andrew - my son went to Italy (Rome, Venice and Florence) for his high school trip over Easter. He told me he came close to getting hit by car at least 50 times in Rome.
