Hey Leslie - how great are you? And brave too - hosting a party of 16-yo's! This would be me: and Glad to hear it went well.

When you say Great Falls, where is that? I know your in MT but wasn't sure if the Great Falls was there or somewhere else.

I've noticed a decrease in the pages the last couple of days but that may change as the other side of the pond wakes up.

Yeah - isn't it funny, I never considered ever getting another one since I felt blessed that I had the ones I had. But this one brings a Happy to my face.

I have a question for anybody and everybody.

If one in your party is not with you upon check-in, can they check in later?

Here's the situation. And sorry to bring my scandals here but here's the situation. Remember several weeks back where I asked for prayers due to scary home situation?

Well, that problem has sorta resolved itself. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on who you ask, my oldest DS will not be travelling with us. We have gone round and round about it and it really saddens my heart that we cannot travel as a family. But I finally broke down and acted the adult and extended an olive branch which was denied. So actually this is a good thing because now it absolves any guilt I would have felt from leaving him behind. (Not to mention any possible - ok not possible - INEVITABLE fights with the older two). My son has chosen to not be a part of the family which is something that most families will go through with any headstrong young man coming into his own. So now, we are a family of 4 with a BFF. However, since today was the last day before getting a 50% penalty, we are in the process of finding a replacement to take his place. DD20 has a friend that wanted to go but due to differences with DS, she did not come with us originally. Now, she is trying to get the time off.

The problem is that she will probably not be traveling with us there and possibly traveling back alone on disembarkation day. If we, as a group of 5 instead of 6 check in, can that be done? And maybe possible have her check in later? Or do we all have to check in together? We are possibly looking at getting Disney transfers as she is a young lady of 20 also and we don't really relish traveling to the airport on embarkation day. OY! Can you imagine?

If anyone has had this problem or experience, I would greatly appreciate your opinion. I know that at PC, FL, DH drops us off while he returns the rental while I proceed to check-in with his passport. However, since the girl is traveling she is using it. Can we do a staggered check-in?

Thanks for letting me air out guys. This is one of the major reasons that I was just lollygagging away at the boards these last few weeks. I was trying to DIS-tract myself with funny, witty, DIS-tractions. Thank you for all the laughs you have all provided me at a time I really could have used it.

Thank you and now maybe you all can understand what having you as a 2nd family means to me. You were there when I was down.....wait - isn't that a song? Bette Midler????? Wind Beneath My Wings?

Every family has "stuff". All we can do is the best we can.

If you look at the online reservation, they have all of the information (travel, transfers, etc.) listed separately for each person. So it should definitely be possible for you to purchase a transfer for just one person.

In terms of check in, that would be for DCL to answer of course.

Hey MJ?

Now that you posted your picture - you look awfully familiar. I have seen your face before. Did you do any of the special DCL cruises? Your eyes are very startling and pop out - your gorgeous!

Do you collect pins? Up until 6-8 months ago - we used to go to DL to pin trade every so often. Since you mentioned that you went there, maybe I caught you there? Or on a ship?

Doesn't that bug you when you remember someone but can't place them? Now it's going to bug me until I figure it out.

OH - and on a totally different subject. We went back to another Marshall's and we picked up 3 more suitecases - Dempsey brand but these were only $48. The reason they were further discounted? They were in different colors! I think they called them tropical - DD14 got a light pink one - which she has always wanted, DD20 got a Royal Blue and I picked up a Majestic Purple just in case with the intentions of returning it if she didn't like it. Turns out BFF is looking for a suitcase to fit her clothes so I don't have to return it.

The only bad thing is that now I have to go back to the original Marshall's I went too and see if they didn't mark down the prices or whether its just because of the colors. Frankly, I like the colors - I won't have to "mark" them with a special luggage strap or some funky other mark as these are definitely "different" looking. Cool sherbet colors that stand out. Personally I prefer them. I like to stand out. (As if my Lime green cap didn't make me stand out before!)
