July 27, 2013 - Fantasy - Eastern Caribbean

Look for the Lathem5 in the terminal....red Ohio State/ Mickey shirts, black shorts....come up and say hi.

We are on the bus now heading to port!!! We are in white Chicago Blackhawks Championship shirts. Can't wait! :wizard:

FYI. Major port changes. No St Martin. San Juan instead and Castaway tomorrow. Don't know how this affects pirate night. At least we'll be safe if the storm.....

We'll be distributing candy on the first sea day!

Enjoy the cruise, everyone!

Just noticed there are no movie channels in the room. When I was on the Wonder in December there were several movie channels in the room. What's up with that?

Just back. Getting on the bus to go to the airport. We had an interesting cruise. DH became a member of the "I set off the Fire Alarm" club by taking a hot shower and not shutting the door.

We had to make a stop at Nassau for a medical emergency. The crew did an awesome job of evacuating the family in need and transporting them to the hospital.

Captain Marco did an awesome job of avoiding the tropical storm and some rains we encountered at sea.

Magnets

We decorated our door and adjacent wall with magnets. We were deck 6 midship. All of the magnets stayed put until the last day. We had a cutout of Sully from Monsters University that we got from a movie theater. Sully sailed away on the last day, never to be seen again.

Sorry to read that.:headache:

We're at the airport. Leaving the ship was easy for us!

I did not get to meet as many Disboarders as I had hoped. I only met math geek to say "Hi!" I hope we connect again, soon.

The candy exchange was a success for us, and I hope the others enjoyed it as well.

For those who weren't necessarily familiar with it, we had 5 participants...

Cincinnati...French Chew ... We live north of Cincinnati and had not known of the delicious treats!

California...Astro Pops! Designed by space scientists....brought back to the shelves a couple of years ago! I remember these from the '70s and enjoyed the long lasting pop!

Hershey PA area...2 families, and what a great goodie bag of Hershey brand treats!! Macadamia nut filled kisses were my personal favor!

Cape May NJ...Franlingers salt water taffy. This is one company that claims to be the first to produce the "salt water" version. Our second home, my heart's home, is in Cape May...where my mom, 93 still lives, so I usually contribute from there when I participate in candy exchanges!

We got som "extras". Including Mickey Snack Sized candies. Perhaps these were part of the general FE! Thank you, we enjoyed these too!

Waiting at the MCO Hyatt for our flight. Sorry we didn't get to meet. Thanks all for great gifts we will enjoy all.

Thanks to all the fish extender participants and candy exchange folks. We are the Cincinnati family from 5656. We were responsible for the luggage tags. We love everything we got, so glad we did it!

Now we just wish our plane would be fixed so we could leave!

We are home!!!

We really enjoyed the FE exchange. We were responsible for the key fobs.

We really appreciate all of the gifts we received. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the FE exchange.

There was some confusion about the DIS Meet. The change in ship itineraries kind of threw things off a bit. We did have a good meet on the first sea day.

We can't wait for next year when we do this again....365 days and counting.

One bag lost any tips? We have insurance. Airline already pointing finger at Disney. Thanks again for the FE gifts.

I'm sorry I didn't make it to the meet! Loved all the FE gifts!!! My girls really got into checking for them! They were all so awesome! We did the post-it note, Mickey frame and either pixar character notebook or bubbles/tattoos/Minnie notebooks depending on kids ages.

Sue we followed you back to your room! Of course we didn't know until you keyed into it...it was my DH and I.

Great too run into Robert and Priscilla !

Never enough time !!!!

We were at rum tasting at 1 pm on Thursday and martini tasting Friday at 1 pm ....anyone else?

Our first time doing FE too!! It was so much fun!! Thanks to all for all the effort!! My little one loved every time something showed up!! I too was very late in the game and appreciate every little thing!! my big boys LOVED the water bottles!! Amazing!! We made the nametag magnets, I hope I spelled everyone's name right, if not send me a note and I'll make you a new one!! Thanks again!! Loved every minute of our cruise!! ❤

Oh yeah, one more thing... Forgot to pick up my picture CD after I paid for it!!!! ARRRRG!! Suggestions???

Thanks,
Shelly
