July 27, 2008 West Coast Magic - 10 Years of Magical Cruising

We hit the low 90’s. Got work benches built. Had a Thunder Storm pass by had a Max wind gust of 38.4 MPH. Not much moisture at all.


Tour de France started today, missed it this morning, and am catching the replay.

Pushing us back to page 1. Today is cooler and cloudy, maybe some much needed rain, or maybe not. Have a good Wednesday! We are enjoying the Tour de France on our brand new TV.

Sometimes I feel like a lost soul in here

Noticed that the other threads for this cruise are still slow also...so not just this one

How is everyone...will be off to DL for 3 days with my GF's , no kids or DH's just ladies weekend hanging at DTD and Grandcalifornian

Than off camping for 10 days next thursday

Whasts everyone else have planned?

The other threads for this cruise? There's more then one?

Not much planned around here. Shari (DW) and Staci (DD) are going to WDW and a 4 day Wonder cruise in about 2 weeks. But other then that, not much planned for the summer.

We are still working on the pole barn, now that the floor has been painted, the chore of moving everything in there has started. Scott is still trying to decide how he wants to organize it. We will spend the mornings of the weekend watching the Tour de France, or maybe work in the mornings when it is cooler, and watch the replay of the Tour in the evening.

My wife and I and our (then) 4-year-old son will be taking our second Disney Cruise with you.

We will be joined by
1. My parents
2. Our friends and their 2 sons (5 & 7)
3. My cousin & her husband
4. My cousin's daugher & fiancee
5. My cousin's co-worker & her husband

15 people total.
7 out the 15 (including the 3 of us) were on the Magic when she was in California in 2005 along with along with 6 other family members.

We can't wait!!!

Really not much to say about this thread. It's been a little slow. I've started a list of the cruiser on the first post of the thread, so you can take a look there. At some point, we probably will want someone to start a more detailed list with first names of everyone in the group and the age of the kids. So if some wants to start that - feel free.

We've heard that DCL isn't going to do anything special for the 10th anniversary, so I guess we will just have to do it instead. I've started work on a name badge and lanyard for everyone on the cruise list.

That's about it up to this point.

I'm back and had a GREAT weekend at the Grandcalifornian with my GF's...dont think we were sober the whole time and for me who never really drinks is saying alot.

WE had soooo much fun that I will have to write a trip report. There was not one moment of bordom or anything. We laughed so much and so hard that my stomsch still hurts....not to mention my head
