HI all we're ok with whatever anyone wans to do about getting together. It would be great to put some faces to names.
Let us know what everyone is happy with.

Welcome, If everyone else is ok with the idea, I think it would be great for you to join FE list #1. (a family just dropped out, so it might be perfect)

MEET UP - we might be pressed for time if we meet after the drill in the lounge. The deck party is supposed to start shortly after the drill (not always the case) What if we meet 20-30 minutes after the drill on the deck towards the right of the stage (facing the stage). There is usually a bar set up there too.
Possibly we could where a RED ribbon or string tied to your wrist or lanyard for identification to the meet.
Everyone from the thread is encouraged to join the meet!
Any thoughts??

I don't mind either if incredible dad joins FE #1 - works fine since I just crossed one off last night.

I think at the bar on deck before sail away party would be fun place to meet.

Just thought I'd jump in. This is our second Disney Cruise, first in the Med, and DS7 and DD5 are uber-excited!

I've just spent 3 hours planning the trip... back is aching hunched over the computer... but a good aching...

It seems we're a bit late on joining the FE... ah well, please let us know if anything changes.

Looking forward to seeing you all on board and hearing the signature horn of the Disney cruise!

Sounds like a plan to me, although on the last 10 night there wasn't a bar there, they were coming around with drinks.

Welcome, I am happy too for you to join the FE if you wish, most people have got their gifts and someone did drop out, let me have your details and I will add you if you wish.

I still need two cabin numbers, Starmaker and also Madmum - Andrea, I think you are going to have to tell us!!

I know there are some who are going to try and upgrade, although I too saw yesterday that the cruise was full (or at least it isn't coming up as an option anymore). If there are changes, they can be notified at the meet, or I will have a whiteboard on our door to write any changes, or messages.

I am started to get excited myself now!

Okay, I must admit i don't know my POTC movies very well. The one showing on the ship is the most recent one - is that 3 or 4??

*Can you use a Disney Gift Card on the ship?
*Can you use the wave phone off of the ship?
*Will there be Taxis at the port when we get off the ship in Barcelona to get us to the airport?
*Can kids wear "cute" shorts to dinner?

Hi all! Just checking in. My DH and I had such fun on the July 18, 2010 Baltic Cruise that we signed up for this cruise! We are in cabin 6626 and we live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tell her not to worry, a couple of little bags hung outside will do, I have seen all manner of FE's, from the conventional to the just different! Makes it more fun delivering to see the differences, my dd loves coming around with me. Best gifts have been things from places where people come from, magnets, postcards and of course my dd loves trying the different sweets, can you get those chewy fish things in Canada?

I have added you to the FE No. 1, as we had someone pull out yesterday. I have put on ages, but don't have the names, as for Cabin number you should be able to get this without having to check in. When you log into your Reservaton on the DCL cruise site, it should be on the first page. If not, go to the 'My Reservaton' tab on the left and click through, the Stateroom Number will be half way down.

If anyone has information on the following questions, I'd appreciate it:

Yes, I think you can. I read on the boards someone was given a Gift Card for their holidays.

*Can you use the wave phone off of the ship?

Not totally sure, I wouldn't think so, purely because they are internal and not international, someone else may have more information.
*Will there be Taxis at the port when we get off the ship in Barcelona to get us to the airport?

Yes, we have had no problems on the last two cruises, but some people have said they had a long wait, we didn't experience this and I think it depends how many in your party, how many bags and what time you get off.

*Can kids wear "cute" shorts to dinner?

Yes, kids can get away with most things, although I wouldn't suggest this on 'formal' night.

Sounds like you are getting into this 'board' stuff, tickers, booking more cruises!!!!!

Wouldn't you be better to wait and book on board and then get the benefit of the on board discount?

We are on this cruise and would like to join the FE. Is it too late? We have one 8-year old daughter.
