Technically yes, however, they're refunding the price we paid for the tickets, and the difference between what we paid them and what we would have to pay Disney. Then we'll have the $$ in advance if we do have to re-purchase the tickets. If we don't have to, and WDW reissues the tickets we purchased through
UT, they will re-charge us for the tickets. So in essence, they're trusting us to let them know so they can charge us for tickets. They won't send us another set of tickets, but this is definately the next best thing.
Thanks! I'd really like to keep the appt we've scheduled if at all possible. We'll change it if we absolutely have to, but the reason I scheduled it early is so she could see the park for the first time ever with the park pretty empty.
That does sound like an okay plan. I thought you meant they were just basically telling you 'too bad, buy new tix' with your own money!! It was early and I misunderstood LOL

Hotel in PA is officially booked...now I have to buy a new cat carrier, but a disposable litter box for the kitties, make sure to bring their treats and buy some paper plates and bring my own garbage bag into the room to dispose of said litter box and any other garbage in the morning. I think my "to buy" list went from non existing to up to 20 items again
Things like the pets are the only reason I'm glad my son isn't going. My dog is so crazy that I would have to board her somewhere. If anyone watched her, she'd probably run away and end up in the shelter for the 4th time needing to be bailed out

Yeah, that is definitely a strange turn of events. While it's not the first time I've heard of it, the fact that they've been divorced for so long is what makes it a bit strange LOL!!
Hey all, just took ages to try and catch up. Been so busy with stuff (not even sure what - lol) that I've not been in here for a few days and wow does this thread go fast these days!!
Well this time in 2 weeks we should hopefully be boarding at Glasgow Airport!! Cannot wait!!! Bought some new shorts yesterday as I am not taking my skinny ones, they'll only depress me when I can't fasten them two days into the trip - lol!!
4 1/2 days of work left til our school hols! So Friday afternoon I'll be in proper holiday mode! Yeay!!

It's getting exciting now, huh? Even though I stopped posting on the WISH thread a few weeks ago, I was kinda sorta sticking to my diet and I did manage to lose 20 lbs or so, so I did go buy some new shorts and bathing suits and was happy with that. I'm kind of mentally out of that mode now, but may get back into it for the next few weeks if I really try.

I hope it does, too! I did get my ME tags and hopefully will really start getting my act together by the end of this week.
- Today we're having a family party (aka my parents, two brothers and their families) for dinner and cake for DD's birthday.
- Tomorrow is actually her birthday and I'm taking her and two nieces and SIL into NYC to the American Girl Cafe for lunch and to just walk around Times Square when we're done with lunch.
- Wednesday I go in the hospital for a procedure.
- Next Sunday we're supposed to go to my nephew's HS graduation party, but it's a 2.5 hr drive, so I have to see how I'm feeling about that after Wed.
- Then I must start really getting things together.
I haven't even made lists yet of what to pack, even though DH is already telling me things like Advil and stuff that needs to be bought. Geez, I'm not even at that stage yet!
Anyone think we're going to need insect repellant? I just don't remember if we needed it or not.
I'm still unsure on the whole socks and sneakers thing. I should probably wear them, but my feet get way too hot. I am wearing them to the airport, though, because I need socks on to walk through security. I will not do it barefoot!
For 8 days (2 waterpark visits and a pool 1/2 day included) I figure we'll need like 12 underwear each and DH will need 12 pairs of socks. DD and I will be mostly wearing flip flops or sandals. I have two bathing suits each. The other choice is to bring 6 of each and do laundry 1/2 way through.
I really hate doing laundry on vacation.
We're flying JetBlue and are allowed 1 bag each under 50 lbs. Anyone want to contribute suggestions? What do you all think I should do re: clothes. Pack 1/2 and do laundry or pack it all and just wash it when I get home, lettin TSA sift through dirty, smelly clothes? ROFL

Luckily, Undercover Tourist has come up with an acceptable solution to make sure that we have valid tickets when we get to the parks. Unfortunately, this also means we have to either take copies of the tickets we bought to the ticket office at WDW and have them reissued, or (if that doesn't work) purchase new tickets from Disney. Does anyone have any idea what time the ticket offices at WDW open at the parks? Our dilemma is that our first day at the parks, DD has a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appt before the park opens, that we need a ticket to get into the park to get to! Her appt is at 8:55am, and we have to be at BBB 15 mins before that. If we have to go to the ticket office there to get new tickets/reissue our tickets, I'm just afraid we won't make it to her appt in time! Oh I will be SO glad when this ticket nightmare is OVER!!
