Hello all!

We are headed to the world on June 25 and staying through July 9th - offsite.

It will be me, DH, my girls, they are each bringing a friend, and my mom.

We are also planning to buy APs while we are there - and then thoroughly launch ourselves into the "Year of Disney!"

Hey OneBadApple I remember we were at Coronado springs at the same time last year and this year we'll be at POFQ 7/10 - 7/24 - I was trying to decide if everyone I saw was you last year - lol!

What a coindenence!!!! I didn't see anyone from Disboards last year that I know of. We probably did cross paths as we spent more time then normal at the resort.

What made you go with POFQ this year? We loved the pool at Coranado Springs, but were not crazy at all about the resort in general. We wanted to go back to CBR this year, but they only had pirate rooms available with our PIN code.

Happy Easter All!

I had my first disney nightmare of this trip the night before last.

I checked into our resort but it wasnt the WL It seemed like it was on Main Street USA in the MK and although it was a nice room/resort, it didnt feel the same. I kept requesting to get a room back at the WL like I had requested and they kept telling me they didnt allow pack n play's in the room but they would call over and ask anyway. In the mean time, I'm talking to DH who for some off the wall reason wears glasses (he doesnt IRL tho) and couldnt find his! It was a very weird dream to say the least. Anyone else having planning nightmares?

Aren't those dreams crazy. I once had one where I left the kids at the airport and spent my whole vacation trying to get back to the airport to get them

Luckily I haven't had any YET for this trip!

I just saved $500 on the July part of our trip--the AP discounts for rooms are out for most of the summer!

We actually loved Coronado Springs last year. Had no intention of doing Disney again this year but I accidentally started looking a few months ago ! We chose POFQ simply because we were getting a much better deal on it than the other Mods through a UK Travel Agent, no idea why!? We didn't even realise at the time that it was getting refurbed so that's exciting! Can't wait now!

Hey everyone!

Hope you all had a great Easter!

We have some ADR changes:

July 25th- arrival day- still Chef Mickey's dinner
July 26th- changed Tutto Italia* to Via Napoli dinner
July 27th- still Nine Dragons dinner
July 28th- still 50's Prime Time Cafe lunch and Hollywood Brown Derby dinner OOP
July 29th- still Teppan Edo lunch, but later now, ADDED Crystal Palace breakfast (8:10 AM )
July 30th- still California Grill dinner
July 31st- still Kona Cafe breakfast and T-REX lunch.

*Tutto Italia used to be a classic and tradition for us, but it recently had a menu change and only a couple things appeal to me somewhat, and nothing really to my DDad or DBro, but we still really wanted a good Italian meal, so we decided to go with Via Napoli. Their menu looks great, and I can't wait to try those pizzas and zeppoles!

We finished our ADRs at the end of last week! We were supposed to do them, as a family, but I couldn't make the trip to MA. So we did it via Google chat instead - oh, technology!

7/11: My parents are going to California Grill for their "anniversary" meal (the anniversary is technically in late June, but close enough).
DB, SIL, baby niece (BN!), DH, and I: Marrakesh.

7/12: All 7 of us - Crystal Palace for dinner.

7/13: All 7 of us - lunch @ Le Cellier (yay for an awesome TA!)

7/14: Parents & BN: Shutters
DB & SIL: Hacienda de San Angel
DH & Me: Boma

7/15: All 7 of us - Kouzzina

7/16: All 7 of us - Chefs de France

I'm pretty pleased, except that I'm only eating in 1 new-to-me restaurant. Oddly, I think all of them EXCEPT Le Cellier are new to everyone else in my family.

On an unrelated note, does anyone know if there is a way to "sneak" a credit on to someone else's account? For example, my brother and his family are a little pinched and they can't go nuts on this trip. I'd love to be able to just put a gift card on their account, without them knowing, for spending money at the park.

If we can't sneak it on, well, it'll be my brother's birthday present and I'll just hand him a gift card. And then buy my niece tons of stuff.

Last year I had this WEIRD dream where I stepped out of the Airport and it wasnt in Florida at all but I got on this bus and was just sitting there while it drove around Italy or some place like that I hope this is my ONLY nightmare lol

I dont think you can "sneak" a gift card on to someone's account. They ask you in check in if you want to put charging privliages on your on file credit card or change it out. Might be best to give him a gift card to use.

Too funny...I was actually just about to start my workout and found myself here instead! Guess I need to get back to it! But first, I just had to add our July trip!!

Change in plans! Our dates are now July 12-26 at the BWI. DH had knee surgery and has had complications so we were not sure how well he would hold up driving for 2 days each way....luckily, Southwest had a sale and we were able to get flights for $84 each way! We just had to change the dates - and we get to stay longer. I will miss having a car there, but will not miss the long drive.

Yes, i am having some motiviation issues.... Can someone come to my house and yell at me to get in shape for Disney? It would be better coming from someone I don't know too well.... My husband knows better than to attempt to tell me himself.

Grooveshark????? I listen to Sorcerer Radio. Listening to park music helps. Right now I am trying to rework ADRs since we are staying a little longer. Reading the Disboards helps too!
