No doc's here, but my sister who was the last to pay off her cruise (2 days before the deadline!) got hers last weekend and she lives in Costa Mesa, just 10 minutes from me! Whats up with that??
We're not wine drinkers either. I love Midori sours blended and a cold Corona here or there. My DH idea of drinking is Coke w/ lime instead of regular coke. What a party crowd we are
I'm a list maker so, I will have a mile long list over the next few weeks but probably not actually pack until a few days before, or else I forget what I already packed and end up taking double. We bought 2 new pull suitcases at the swapmeet just to be sure we had all of us covered.

LegalBriefs said:Hey all! I am still resting up from the cruise, but I wanted to stop by and say howdy! It was great! I am sure we are going to have a great one as well.. now, as I am fairly new to this thread, I am not sure about what you all have planned for DIS get togethers and such... and let me say this... I am not a good planner, so I am only making suggestions, not volunteering to plan anything... LOL... I suggest meeting Saturday at 3pm outside of "Scoops" for a quick meet and greet... since Lime Green is the "DIS" color of choice, we can see each other in the terminal and at the meets if we all wear something Lime Green, if nothing else, the Lime Green "Disney Paint Chips" at home depot (they are shaped like Mickey) are free and you can pin one to your shirt with your real name and DIS name on it... Just a thought... If someone can keep track of all the DIS'ers including rooms and such and maybe print it out so we can get in touch with each other on board... As far as timing goes... usually around 2pm on Sea days is a good time... On the last cruise we had a "Wine Tasting" a "Beer tasting" and a "champagne get-together" for DIS'ers which different folks hosted in their rooms... all the events are BYOB so as not to put anyone out... What do y'all think? As far as the Party in the ROY suite goes, do you all want to do a daytime thing or a night for adults only? Let me know, ok? I look forward to getting to know you all...![]()
Clarissa Raymundo said:Hello all DIS Boards Members. Thanks for all your reply regarding my dilemma about our cabin assignments. I have been calling Disney trying to upgrade to a Category 4 but the July 2nd Cruise is completely sold out. I have not lost hope. Meanwhile, I saw my sister-in-law's threads and I remembered her e-mailing me about joining the cruise meet. We'd love to join your party. Is it full now or closed? Can you please count us in? I am cruising with my DH(40), my DS(14-his birthday tomorrow), my DD(9) and my other DD(4). We are so excited, counting the days.....Both my DH and I work in very stressful jobs (consulting-engineering/interior design)![]()
and we need this much needed break.
Will Disney switch cabin assignments if I find somebody through the DIS Boards to switch cabins with? My family's cabin assignments are at both ends of the ship which means my DH and I will sleep in separate cabins.![]()
It really does stink (as some of you said) but we don't want to cancel this trip. My brother's family who lives in Texas is also going on this trip. I'll know next time to book Category 4 to avoid this situation. We're planned to do the Paradise Beach excursion for PV, Mazatlan Frank for M and none yet for Cabo. We're second seating at 8:30 for dinner and we've booked for Palo for 2 dinners, a brunch and a high tea. (Don't have the information handy.) any news of what Castaway Club members receive or any interesting news from the first group of West Coast cruisers? Will try to post again more details. Got to get back to work..............

4fosterkids said:Hey Amy,
I wondered if your kids had different looking birth certificates or do they all look the same? I knew I had certficates for all 4 of our kids, but when I pulled them all out, I discovered my 3 boys (20,14,12) look much different then my daughters (6) does.
Just thought I'd check with a fellow O.C.'er to see if it was true with others. I had always ordered theirs within a few months of their births but never paid attention to how they looked.
I have this fear of getting up to the check in and them saying its not correct! DH and I have passports.
Thanks
Jill
