Hi Eric-I have two boys that are both 13 (my son and his friend), sounds like your siblings would be a good match for them. We have lots of 15 yr old girls in our group though!! :cool1: Sorry, moms of the girls--I had to tell him :)

We've always had 2 kids w/ us and got the rotation we wanted, the one people say mainly adults only get so hopefully our request will work again this time. Last time they were 3 and 3 and 13 and now they are 5 and 15! ::yes::

That's great. It's so weird b/c we didn't even request it, so hopefully it works. If not, no biggie. I mean, I guess I can deal with it. :rotfl:

Interesting! We did not specifically request a rotation last time, or this time either. Last time, cruising with a 13 year old, we got PLA...... which I believe, is the one that "older kids" are supposed to get. Have been wondering what it will be this time. It will be curious to see! ::yes::

Well, we're down officially to one week: we fly out Wednesday morning, so this time next week, I will (HOPEFULLY!) be all packed, and just waiting for the sun to come up. :yay:

I have 3 days left at home till I leave for Disney World. We leave on Saturday morning for San Jose. Sunday we fly to Florida. I am so excited. I am just finishing marking off all items on my list. My dh decided he needed a new camera for this trip. So off he went to Costco. I guess I should be happy. He can now take even more pictures of this wonderful trip. So all is good.

I'm jealous! We don't leave until a week from Friday, but the way it looks, I'm going to need every minute of that time! I was home for less than 2 hours between the hours of 5:25am and 9:15pm yesterday. I was exhausted when I got home last night! :sad2:

I'm dying to know our dining rotation. We're the late seating, and I want to know how it interacts with sunset at Key West. APL is good, I'm willing catch dinner elsewhere and see the sunset. PLA is okay- we'd watch it onboard, and get their a few minutes late and skip appetizers or something. But LAP... I think my kids want to see the whole Animator's Pallete show, so it may be sticky for us. Our kids are 9 and 12, and last year we were APL, I guess because we were late seating, which probably redefines young a bit older.

Of course that implies the weather is good... And it doesn't seem like a significant enough problem to worry about, does it? But it beats worrying about if anyone is getting sick... Last year the kids got strep one week before our trip, but as for now, all is well. So I'm concentrating my worrying energy on fun worrying.

I'm dying to know.

Hi Sheila,
North Reading is right up the road, in fact my daughter takes dancing classes in North Reading! Does your sister have kids?
This packing thing is killing me like so many of you! I have few nice clothes since I don't have to dress up for work, and I don't even have many summer clothes since I lost weight since last year (gotta love weight watchers! :woohoo: ). Although I thought it would be fun shopping and packing, I am tired of it all! :laundy:
One more week until I leave! :hourglass Can't wait to be done with all this pre-trip stuff!

LOL! With the week I'm having, our dining rotation is the last thing on my mind. :teeth: I'm just looking to get through the week. Maybe next week, I will worry about that - after my suitcases are packed and ready to go! :cool1:

Karen - how much have you lost with WW? I should hit 75 by the time we go! :woohoo: I needed everything new. I didn't have one thing that fit! I hate shopping, so this cruise thing is killing me. I will be doing this all weekend! :laundy: I was even worse on the dress clothes. I wear jeans/shorts and t-shirts/sweatshirts to work!

For all of you wondering about your rotation, it really does not matter WHAT rotation you end up with! You will enjoy all the restaurants no matter what order you have! :goodvibes

I'll just be happy to eat! :lmao: I love to eat, and if I don't have to make it, that's even better. :thumbsup2

Hi Patti,
That is awesome! I only lost 25 since October...slow and steady! I could lose another 10, but then again, who couldn't? I about 3 sizes smaller now and look forward to not having such a big butt in a sundress. I am actually looking forward to dressing up. At work I wear scrubs, which looked a little small before WW, and now look really loose, but hey, I have a draw string and I just tie it tighter! So basically, I had no clothes to wear (besides jeans and sweaters) before I started shopping.
About the dining rotation, I agree with your statement: "I love to eat, and if I don't have to make it, that's even better." I hope to do some walking to keep off those extra pounds, because I plan on trying everything!

I woke up this morning and realized that I forgot to pack my husbands dress shoes. That would not of been good. He would then have to wear nice clothing with sandals.
Slowly my list is getting shorter. Thank goodness. This whole packing thing is wearing me out. If I had to go to work during this time I would be going crazy. But, I have to take work with me on the ship. I have tons of reading to do and a report to write for a conference I am presenting at in July. But, that is ok. Then once we get to the hotel it is time to unpack and organize everything. We then have five days at the parks. Should be fun but it probably be really busy.
We are taking Disney tranp. from the Swan to the ship. I hope we do not get to the ship to late. I am so excited to get back on the ship. We are in the same stateroom we were in last time. We did not even request that stateroom. Weird.

Hmm, I just checked my tickets, and they do say departing Key West at 7:30. Sunset is 8:20 or so.

That's odd. I thought Key West was until midnight. Anyhow, I'd be happy to see it from the ship. Although when you think about it, then it doesn't have to be Key West, does it? Anywhere in the Caribbean would do.

Which means I don't have to worry about the rotation any more :sunny:

Hmm. Now I should be worrying about packing. But I'm having six of my 9 year old's friends sleep over on Saturday night, so I'm not really packing until they're gone. Buying... I've buying for months, and should have almost everything. Knock wood.

Today is my kid's last day of school. No more waking up at 6 AM. Yeah!

Thanks Karen! Great loss for 8 months!! My journey has been about 21 months. I didn't get serious until we booked our cruise in Feb 2005. Luckily, I was able to pass down all of my clothes to a girl that works part time here. She is losing also, but this will give her plenty of stuff to wear on her way down.

Deb from CT and I plan on walking every morning! :cool1: Everyone is more than welcome to walk with us. :goodvibes I walk everyday. Some days I hate it, and just do it to get it over with, usually when it's hot or cold, but most days, I enjoy it because it's the only ME time I get. :teeth:

LOL on the shoes! I have to remember to write those on my list so I don't forget too! As long as he has his Husker shirts, he'll be happy. :lmao: I picked up 2 new Husker magnets to use on our door! Husker Hounds has some great shirts. Have him check them out at huskerhounds.com Think of us packing while you are enjoying the start of your vacation! ::yes::

Congrats to both of you on your weight loss. I'm a lifetime member myself and Patti, I know what you mean about the walking - some days exercising is a chore, but once you do it, it just makes you feel that much better :)

I may join you on some of those walks - depends on how busy the gym gets -in the past I power walked deck 4 (?) but it had to be early - any idea what time you'll plan to go?

Karen - my sister has two children but one just graduated high school and the other is 15 years older than that!!! Yes, she had 2 children 15 years apart! :)

Are you a nurse? You mentioned scrubs - my sister is a nurse and a massage therapist - she had a massage th. office in N. Reading but has since gone into the administrative end of nursing.

Anyway......I have to laugh about the shoes. When my mother passed away my brother, who lives in FL, got on the first flight he could, had a bag packed, got the the airport, remembered his bag was on the kitchen table and arrived in Mass. in flip-flops. My mother died in January and we had a huge snowstorm that same weekend :) :)

On past cruises, I thought we had stayed in Key West longer also. I know we stayed later in Cozumel because I remember sitting on my balcony watching people stagger back to the ship
