July 18 2009 Tortola - Part 2!

I have been to Kutztown!! Actually, my daughetrs former dance teacher went to kutztown U and now lives near Reading. We'll be driving through your neck of the woods next week - head from York area up to Poconos for our last dance comp of the year!! We'll wave as we drive by. It's usually where we stop for lunch!

OMG - someone knows where Kutztown is! Where do you usually stop for lunch?

You are too funny!! There is a little strip of food places right as you go through town (it is one of the first place we actually get traffic lights after Lancaster), and I know that is the last good place to stop before th rest of the long drive. So, we just pick one. Any good ones we should know about? We love the little diners!

Noah's mom - We laugh because the Poconos really have not changed since the 1950's! But the kids love going there - it is laid back, and friendly, and they get to just do some hanging out at the pools, etc.

We stayed at the Stricklands resort. Had our own "cabin". Unfortunately, by the time we arrived (after driving from WI) the cabin we had booked (yes it had a heart shaped whirlpool) was not available so we got an upgrade, this cabin was a bigger split level but the whirlpool was just a full size rectangluar shape. In fact is was so big that if we sat in opposite corners our toes barely touched.

I remember DH dropped the bubbles into the whirlpool - there was bubbly foam EVERYWHERE!!
