Yep, I got mine - at least my SIL and I are cruisin' I have a call into my dad to see if he got his. DH is listed primary on another cabin, his cabin documents didn't come yet.

Never mind - they are all coming to my house - thanks for the tracking link...

We just got ours to. I know all it is is the luggage tags but it lets me know that the vacation is almost here!

I've started making my door magnets, my FE is done (thanks mom!), my FE gifts are done, I'll just put them together once we are on board, since it will take up less room in the suitcase. My preference is not to assign days, and not having to worry that I have to deliver it on a specific day in case there is something I want to do! How about nothing since we are on a cruise!

Could someone give me link for the theme picture so I can make a magnet, please?

We r in Cincinnati til Sunday and r a signature only house. No docs for us yet! :-(. Tuesday at the earliest! Darn it!

My vote would be to keep it loose rather than assign specific days. One of the things I'm most looking forward to about this vacation is the LACK of schedules to be kept. Assigning days would sort of defeat that. Plus, I like the idea of not knowing when some little goody will show up in my FE from one day to the next. If it were based on a schedule, that element of surprise would be diminished a bit.

Now, having said all that, I should also say that this is my 1st time participating in a FE so I have no direct experience in how it plays out. If you don't assign specific days, do you end up getting overwhelmed with gifts all on one day? Is that the reason to try to control it?

This is how I feel on all counts.....it's my first FE exchange......and I'm all about "surprises!".......how does everyone else feel?

Hey all........I just want to mention that Jenny called me on August 4th, last summer to say she was sailing with us IN ONE MONTH!!! It was the night before my youngest DD went to college and now here we all are ONE MONTH from the cruise!!

Ok, one more day of school (and one training day next week but it's math so it doesn't count!).....my babies moved on today - I'll admit it, I loved this class........just a clean-up day tomorrow..........this weekend.......
SUMMER BEGINS

Day 3 of summer school down...

19 more actual school days to go....

I decided I HATED the book we have to use this summer... so... I'm trashing it! Going to just do it without a book - at least for the next 3 school days...

That being decided I then spent the afternoon making projects for the kids to work on.

I really do like all the kids in my class... today their personalities started coming out.... they really seem to be a great group of kids... now if I could just learn all their names LOL!

I just LOVE being able to say that we cruise in twenty nine days instead of thirty! What a difference a day makes, eh?

Starwood: you are SO right with this weather....it has been, and continues to be, so depressing...I don't EVER remember (and I'm OLD) this much rain in June. Everyone in this area is depressed. My 17 yr. old hasn't worked very much since school is over - his job is at a pool!
The famous Kutztown Folk Festival (has anyone EVER heard of it?) starts next weekend....I'm hoping the rain stops till then (I'm working a few days at a jewelry stand at the Festival---tough job but someone has got to do it)

I've been working in the high school office for the last 8 days (the girl i'm substituting for is in Disney)...my job is FINALLY over, I think, for the summer.

Can't believe some of you are STILL in school So sad.

My packing panic has NOW begun - it is not pretty...thank goodness for my DH Bob, he does the packing and must live with me until everything is bought and packed

Been reading the threads - you guys are doing an amazing job at planning...thanks...it is NOT my specialty in life...unorganization is my biggest problem, unfortunately

We just found out that my husband Bob is leaving for Texas (near Dallas, the JC Penney corporate office) the day AFTER we get home from vacation....
once again, thank goodness he is organized. He must come home from 11 days vacation, unpack, pack and leave again for a week

We WILL be at the Turf club on Thursday....can't wait. I'm kindof excited too, I've ALWAYS been a Princess Diana fan (kindof obsessed with it when she was alive) and I just found out there will be a display of some of her dresses at Downtown Disney (former Mega Virgin Store)...I will definitely put that visit on my agenda.

I have been to Kutztown!! Actually, my daughetrs former dance teacher went to kutztown U and now lives near Reading. We'll be driving through your neck of the woods next week - head from York area up to Poconos for our last dance comp of the year!! We'll wave as we drive by. It's usually where we stop for lunch!
