Now that I just looked on "my cruise reservation" now I have lots of questions. I'm getting really nervous!! We applied for our passports after 3 trips to the post office - yes 3 times - first time, the copier was down, went back the next day with copies, we forgot our check book, 3rd time- check book, copies all set - and finally sent - expeditied. So that is over.

Now my questions are:
How do I find out how much OBC we have?
AAA gave us $75, but I put the whole thing on my Disney Visa so we would get the $50 OBC, but that is not showing up on my paper ressie. Is there some where online that I would find it?
Your travel agent should be able to tell you exactly how much you have in OBC.
I know I have to sign up dd for the child care, but where do I do that on line or is it after I check in with all of us? I can't check in unless I have the passport numbers?
If you need Flounders (for the under 3 set), you can do this online in your reservation. You do not need to check-in in order to make these reservations. But online you are limited to 10 hours of Flounders
, so plan accordingly. Make sure you book your most vital times first. Often you can book more hours once you are onboard. You can also register older kids online for their kids' clubs. But you can also do this at the terminal or onboard. Unlike Flounders, these groups don't fill up, so there's no rush.
One of the excursions that we wanted to do is already booked up, do they ever open more up on the ship? If we book one on line and decided not to do it, are we refunded the money? I'm thinking of dear 12dd and swimming. (ladies you know what I mean!)
You must cancel any excursion three days in advance of sailing. If you don't, you are at the mercy of Disney. Their official policy is no refund.
You can check with the cruise excursion desk when you board if you would like to be put on a waiting list for an excursion. Sometimes people need to cancel for illness etc. and if there's someone on the waiting list, then I think Disney is willing to help you work out the switch. I've personally never done this though, so best to call Disney and ask about their excursion policy and check-in with the excursion desk as soon as you board.
When will be find out our room assignments? We have a cat 10. any chance we can upgrade? We just booked on Monday, then of course all the new OBC comes out, oh well that is our luck!
You generally get your room assignment about 30 days out from the cruise. I'm assuming you booked a GTY room. There are opportunities for upgrades, but they aren't really that common. The standard advice is book a cabin you'll be happy with and if you get an upgrade, it's a special bonus.
Sometimes at the port when you check in, there are upgrades available and they are generally cheaper than if you call in advance. But again, these opportunities are few, so don't count on it. If you really want an upgrade and are willing to pay full price for it, call in advance.
We are celebrating our parents "early" 50 anniversary. Is anyone clever out there in a slogan for our t-shirts? I was thinking "Crusin to 50...." with Mickey and Minnie. I know kinda dorkey.
I'm not good with slogans either (and I don't think yours sounds dorky at all). But if you're looking for other ideas
, what about "Celebrating 50 'Magical' years!" I'd make the "Magical" all fancy with stars or glitter or something
. Then you can put the name of the ship and dates, names of your parents, etc. Just an idea.I'll have to get a Mutiny t-shirt too! I kinda wanted something pirate related so we could wear them to the pirate dinner, but my brain is kinda fried since its the holiday weekend!
