Good Morning!!! Congrats on the Pirate!!! I'm up early - John's been at work early all week and this morning he's photographing a triathlon. Once I'm awake I'm awake.

I'm watching last night's Cubs/Padres game avoiding my e-mail for the post-game results. :)

The cats got their microchips yesterday so that they can now transit Europe without problems.

Do the cats have passports? A good friend of mine is moving back to the states from Switzerland and his cats have passports. We've had a good laugh, because these two Persians are the most pampered and spoiled cats known to man.

We went out shopping yesterday looking at Toyota Prius' and we bought a brand new one. My first new car in about 20 years. They even let me take it home after leaving the deposit. I'm bringing the final check over today. It's so nice and shiny and it gets 48 mpg.

There are so many buttons I don't know what half of them do yet. The instruction book is 508 pages long.

Cool! Enjoy your car! I've been wishing for a prius as my next car. I have a 2001 Highlander that has 121,000 miles. It has a long way to go before I need a new one :lmao:

How's the head room ? - DH and DS14 are 6' 6" and 6'4" (so far) respectively; with a driver's license around the corner, I want a little car, to guarantee I will always have one...:lmao:

It might be a little tight for 6'6 but 6'4 should be ok. More headroom in the front than the back but I'll be in the front LOL. I wanted the blue one but they only had silver and grey so I got the silver. Now I have to pay for it and my old car (2004 Ford Focus) will be Matt's and that is heading to the shop today because of a nasty squeak in the rear.

I'm hoping the highlander will last at least two more years so Mike can drive it. He believes he will get a corvette :lmao:

No, the EU issues passports for cleared animals who reside in Europe. But if we ever moved to Europe with them, the microchips they got yesterday will make them eligible for the passports.:cat:

We just sold our 2004 Highllander. I love the car, so wouldn't have sold it but we are going to a country where they drive on the wrong side of the road. So we need a right-hand drive car.

Now, I just need to sell my Chrysler minivan. HMMMMM..........:scared1:

We are celebrating our parents "early" 50 anniversary. Is anyone clever out there in a slogan for our t-shirts? I was thinking "Crusin to 50...." with Mickey and Minnie. I know kinda dorkey. I'll have to get a Mutiny t-shirt too! I kinda wanted something pirate related so we could wear them to the pirate dinner, but my brain is kinda fried since its the holiday weekend! :)

I like the 50 magical years idea from 3princessmommy. To me the 'cruisin to 50...' sounds more like they are 50 yrs old rather than a 50th aniversary. Anyone can make it to age 50, but 50 years married is impressive these days.

Hahaha, a Ford in the shop... go figure (sorry I'm a Toyota person :confused3)

I've got a 97 4runner thats been though some crazy stuff, still runs great. Only about 140k miles on it and its due for a new clutch... thatll be the first official part replaced on it (aside from oil and tires). Not the best on gas but hard to justify buying a new one when this ones paid off.

Oh, here I found a couple on photobucket...

And where's the next one of it stalled in the middle of the river???? And the fire rescue department and tow truck??? :rotfl2::lmao:;)

Now my questions are:

How do I find out how much OBC we have? AAA gave us $75, but I put the whole thing on my Disney Visa so we would get the $50 OBC, but that is not showing up on my paper ressie. Is there some where online that I would find it?

If you signed up with AAA Cutomer Appreciation Disney Sail, I was told that you couldn't get the Visa credit. Not the first thing I was told incorrectly my this agent. (Never again.) Let me know if you get different info.

I like the suggested slogan too. Pretty impressive on your parent's reaching 50. Congratulations to them. Very special.

Well, I was shooting from inside the house to the cart outside the gate, so it's not a great photo, but there's the donkey, and the playset tower is on a cart behind him.

I just love this. Your lives are so fascinating. I enjoy the stories. Keep them coming.

The more I think about it, the more it seems to make sense to try to get a charter together for the day. That way, I could hit the Baths from the water and maybe Soggy dollar for a little bit and then return on my own timetable.

Anyone ever chartered for a day? My boss has chartered a boat for the week, but the person she used does not do day charters.

I totally want to do this too, and I'm looking all over the place for one. If you find one, there will be from 8 - 14 people we could book......please let me know!:goodvibes

Intersting thought. I wonder if that company your boss used could recommend another company that does day charters?

There is Patouche Charters that will do charters. They have a full day 9 - 5 for 12 people for $2,000. Due to the economy, perhaps they could do a shorter, cheaper version? (They also have bigger boats.)

Do you have the website.........I seriously think we could pull together a good size group if they could accomodate us..............:confused3:banana:

Ok, so it looks like a good number of us plan to do the ferry run to the Baths early on and then the "pub crawl" later on Tortola port day....I think we need a charter that would take us to the Baths and then on to the other festivities.........who knows who we should contact????:love::banana::love::banana:
