**JULY 11, 2010*** Double Dip Wonder!

The buttons are a way to recognize other DISers. They have your name and screen name on them. See this post for more details: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=36976348&postcount=1530

I bet you guys are getting very excited! Totally understand why you may miss the meet. Your paperwork is much more important!

More on buttons - they are really neat. Mark and Mary are very generous to make these for all of us. I still have mine from past cruises. And since I wear a lanyard on board, I NEVER take it off...:thumbsup2 OK, perhaps when it was formal night on the 7 night cruise it was missing.:rotfl: It doesn't seem like a real cruise without buttons........ And something else to surprise your hubby with....Not only a cruise but at 3:00 a bunch of folks he never met are going to be wishing him a great cruise and what a super Birthday he will have....:woohoo:

Ready, and very excited for the cruise! Ready to meet with our real wedding coordinator on the ship because the one we are working with currently can only give us general guideline information. Still have to work out all the details once we are on the ship.

We are supposed to signing all our wedding paperwork at 3:00 so depending how long that takes, we may or may not be able to make it to the DIS meet.

Bring the coordinator and paperwork to the DIS meet. Let us all be part of the total process.....except paying the bill!!

Hi guys! Just checking in on the final count for the FE...

Is this correct?

Two rooms with adults only(5 adults total)

One room with two girls, both age 5

One room with a 10 yr old boy

One room with two 16 year old girls

One room with a 10 year old girl

One room with an 11 yr old girl and an 8 year old girl

I'm getting things together and want to be sure I have enough. :) Thanks!

*********FE INFO*******

Anyone interested in doing an FE Gift Exchange, please send me a private message with your DIS name, your family member's real names, kids' ages, and your room number.

I am compiling a list and will send the list to everyone also via PM's.

I'm still out of town right now, but will add newcomers when I get back this weekend.

Hey just let me know what I need to bring - I'm sure we are supplying some treats!!

Yes GaRRy - you are supplying treats (no tricks) - enough for 13 Fish Extender Pockets. But ya better check my math:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good Morning All.......

Word of warning - I sure hope it is cooler in the islands than South Florida - it is HOT for June - very HOT......

For those of you traveling from outside Florida - additional tip of the day for the cruise.

WATER - and not the type you swim in. Please make sure you drink more water than you think you need and start early (and often). Also, it is even more important that your kids drink water. They may get very excited and forget - esp if they are in the pool and wet. Sounds strange but it is very important in this heat. Water and not Soda (or Pop - depending on where you are from) Really intended as a hint and not a lecture as I have made the mistake of not following this tip and paid the price...Not fun on a vacation. And I have no excuse, I was born here!!!!! Silly me!

OK - tip over for now....

The navigators from the first 5 night are posted - I use the drop down menu on the Dis Updates - just scroll down.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-stateroom-navigator.htm

Mary posted the info on the Dismeet - it is a page back -easy to find because she has the large map of the ship included.

FE list is on the first page. Stacey will update it when she gets back.

And most importantly, if you want a button you must provide Mary with the information. Look at my post at the top of this page - there is a link to more info.

Hope this helps.

Last call for buttons!

Today is the cut-off date. If you sent me a pm recently you should have gotten a confirmation one in return.

No more requests will be taken after today. Sorry.

3 weeks from today we'll be on the road!

Read May 30th Navigators, only one dress up night on the five day... most are cruise casual. :cool1:
Helps with packing....

I haven't looked at these. Did they say "formal" or semi-formal?
I have three dresses set aside already, but none are "dressy".

I sent out PM's tonight of the list for FE gifts that we have so far. Please let me know if you are supposed to be on the list, but you didn't get the PM.

If we have new additions between now and Monday, I will send a new list.

The ceremony is at "approximately 10:00 AM" according to our wedding planner, then we go to palo for cake and bubbly and finish up whenever we want after that.

What we did when Megan was married on Castaway Cay was to go have lunch at Parrot Cay after the reception (and Nick's timing is about right) and then put swimsuits on and got off the ship to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach. Eating at Parrot Cay was much easier than going down and wasting precious time trying to get in line at Cookie's.

We have them. Every night is Cruise Casual with Wednesday night listed as "optional Dress up".

I have a feeling this is going to be a very casual cruise.

I agree - we aren't going formal (or even semi-formal). Mark is bringing a dress shirt and tie for Palo (which we are doing on pirate night) but for the dress up night he'll be in dockers/polo shirt and I'll be in a pant suit.

We all like the buttons as well. Lisa LOVES the buttons and has all of hers from past cruises. She was really disappointed the first time we went on a Disney Cruise and there were no buttons (obviously because Mark & Mary weren't with us). Bugs will be so happy to get her first button. She has been on a Disney Cruise before, but not with the "gang". :thumbsup2
