Jorge Cruise 3-hour diet - anyone doing it?

I just started this diet today. I'm a bit worried about doing this at work though. I'm a hair stylist and barely have time to eat. Today I took a yogurt smoothie for my snack so I could just run to the back and drink my snack real quick. I aslo had a shake for lunch. The shake wasn't enough calories but I don't know what else to do for lunch. LOL maybe I'll drink 2 of them.

Maybe you should do 2 shakes! :) The smoothie was a great idea for the snack. I'm trying to think of other quickies but nothing comes to mind. Do you have time to add a banana to your lunch?

Good luck!! :cheer2:

I, too, need my coffee :drinking1 asap after I get up in the morning, or else :headache: lasts all day long! On the 3-Hour plan, I have adapted myself to still enjoy my coffee, but it is now considered a "freebie" and I still have my full 400 calorie breakfast as well! Instead of half&half and sugar, I use Splenda sweetener and fat free half&half...Working out fine so far and no :headache: !!!!! Good luck! (P.S. I am "mommyrom"...DH still logged on computer when I wrote this post!)

i decided to count my coffee as my snack and then have breakfast 3 hrs later--- any other eating rules i need to know????

Just requested the book from the library to giveit a look. From what you've all said it sounds like it might work for me. I've been really lax over the summer, but started last week walking on the treadmill again. Now I need to get my eating under control!! The children start school tomorrow so it's time for new beginnings!! I'll keep looking to see how anyone else is doing.

This sounds soooooooo perfect for me. I just posted that i'm trying to find an eating plan. I have arleady been eating every few hours and drinking TONS of water and I just set a goal today of b/t 1200 and 1500 calories a day. So this won't be too much of a change. I've been snacking a lot on veggies, fruit and the 100 calorie packs. I'm going to check out the website and possibly the book. Thanks for the tips!

Has anyone tried to combine this with the South Beach eating style? How has it worked for you?

Do you really have to have 400 calories for breakfast/lunch? I usually do a LC Slimfast for breakfast or eggs and a couple slices of tomato.

I was thinking of celery/pb for the snack in the AM. I'm at a loss for the PM snack - I don't want to do a lot of sugar.

Maybe some carrots or some fruit? Or a low carb bar, if you're doing the low carb thing (maybe 1/2 a bar if it's higher in calories).
