Ok, so when we were at Disney in October the wheels fell off of our double stroller on our last night in Epcot...it was pretty funny :rotfl2:

So we fixed it, but now we need a new one. Our daughters are 2 and 5, so I was thinking a Joovy Caboose Sit and Stand Stroller would be a good choice.

What do people think of these?? I noticed that the ultralight one is 5 pounds lighter then the other but is like $80 more...is it worth it?

Thanks for any help.

I am going to give this a shamless bump to see if anyone can give me any insite.

I am also open to another brand if anyone can give suggestions.

We just got the ultralight a few weeks ago. I LOVE it. I keep telling my husband it has changed my life and he rolls his eyes. My friend has the regular caboose and I like the ultralight because it's much easier to steer. The wheels just seem to roll better or something. I highly recommend it.

We saw one of the Joovy Big Caboose strollers at Epcot this past year....it was soooo NICE! But the guy said it steered like a tank, was heavy and folded just slightly smaller than it was fully expanded....:( We really really needed one that we could fit all 3 of our little ones in (5, 4 and 3 years old). We opted for renting 2 doubles most of the trip, after our Baby Planet Unity Double broke the second day. The steering broke completely off of it :(

I can tell you not to go with a Baby Jogger Double, it folds way too big to put in the back of most cars (and we have a Suburban....but it wouldn't fit back there with luggage...etc). Do not go with a Peg Aria Twin, piece of JUNK! It felt like it was going to collapse under the weight of our 2 youngest (25 and 30 pounds). Graco makes a decent one....but I don't like the front/back strollers, I like the side by side ones.

I think the next one we buy will be the Baby Jogger Double Light series....their strollers stear so easy, have a high weight limit and the light one is smaller so it folds more compact (without those jogger tires).

I have looked at the Joovy too though....I like the fact that they can sit or stand on that back platform. Baby Trend makes a sit and stand too, you might want to compare it with the Joovy.

Ok, so there is more of a difference then just the weight between the two? Good to know, I want something good. I am sure it will make another trip or two to Disney, so I want something that works. Typically the strollers are only used for trips and then at the mall, so we need something that works well.

I saw one of those jogger stroller ones that has the seat almost below the other one...might have to look at those. I could use the higher weight limit, since my girls are almost 3 and 6.

I saw the baby trend one at Target today...it sounds dumb, but I don't like it because it has checkered like fabric on it, I am kinda over that. I was hoping to get a PINK one, so I e-mailed Joovy about the chance of getting that.

THANKS everyone for the insight.

I've heard the ultralight has much better steering and turning than the regular ones. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that a friend bought one a couple months ago from a babystore that also had an ebay storefront and by going through ebay she saved herself like $35-$40 on one of the auctions.

Happy shopping.

Very good information, I will have to check eBay out. There is one person starting bids at $150 with $29 shipping, so I might need to watch that.

i am holding out for an answer from Joovy about a pink one.

i am holding out for an answer from Joovy about a pink one.

I got a response from Joovy that they will release a new one coming up in about 2 months for the spring line. I am debating if I should wait till that or just get the black one. The thing is with my luck that way it is going they will definitely release a pink one if I buy the black one.

So I am trying to figure out IF we can hold out that long.

We used a Joovy for our trip in 2006 when my ds's were 3 and 5. It was a lifesaver!!! We did not have a problem with stearing or moving through the thick summer crowds. It was a bit akward for dh to get in on and off the bus, but he made it work. The lightweight one sounds great also. I recommend the Joovy brand over the Baby Trend sit and stand.

Strollers on those dang buses are always a major PITA! I am starting to think that the UltraLight one will be better...now I just have to decide black or hold out for the possibility of pink.

My kids are that age too...I hate to still need a stroller, but we do and I just cannot justify the price of renting one at WDW for 8 days or whatever.
