don't know if anyone posted this, but here is a interesting article.

I can't blame them for wanting to move. I have heard they have issues with people driving by their home and snapping pictures. Yes, it is a by-product of the fame they have but they still deserve basic privacy. That show must pay them VERY well if this is the price range they are looking at.

Wow - how far back did you go to dig up that hateful post?

We get it - you don't like the show. Turn if off then.

Some of you are as oblivious as Kate. Jon is a Saint solely for putting up with her day after day. Turning the channel is great advice, but what about those seemingly delayed kids who have nearly no interaction with peers?

It seems like exploitation to me. If you watch kids by the dozen, you know even larger families do it alot more realistically. She is just not nice, and I too see through her. Read about how she treats fans (even kids) who approach her at a speaking engagement, and about Jodi's sister who is speaking publically about the emotional abuse Kate has bestowed. Why would they lie? Who that's in her life, has said one nice thing about this woman?

If you enjoy the show, great, but don't berate people who think it is far from reality, or appropriate.

Jon and Kate the early years (she has mostly dark hair, they're showing the tummy tuck stuff) is on right now.

Watch and discuss.

I guess I didn't miss anyhting as I have seen this before. I thought there was a whole show devoted to showing videos from their early years before kids. I was wrong. But I did enjoy watching the episode today again. After her tummy tuck Kate was so excited to get her hair lightened--for Jon. I loved that! Makes me remember why I started watching. That and oh, yeah---the kids are beyond precious!

There was a show a few weeks ago where they reminisced about the old days :thumbsup2

They take up an offering at their speaking engagements even though they are paid and given per dium...i'm just sayin'.

..I don't think anyone is berating people who don't like the show or think Kate is horrible, but I just don't get why if folks feel that way why they continue to watch the show. For example: I can't stand Tom Cruise and think he is a nut case so I won't watch anything he is in. I sure wouldn't watch his movie and then rip him to shreds.

I know people have the right to say whatever they want but that works both ways, those of us that enjoy the show and don't see anything wrong with Kate or with them having perks have the right to say what we feel too.

Yes you may ask why they SEEM that way to me. I've been an EC preschool-2nd teacher for 21 years specializing in language pathology. Anyone knows many preemies need special services to thrive, this isn't criticism.

I didn't mean to upset you...I was just curious why you thought the kids may have some developmental issues

Amen--well said! (BTW-I am right with you on the Cruise thing)

This thread has pretty much turned into a lovefest for the Gosselins. If you have a different opinion it won't be welcome here unfortunately.

I HOPE THE PUNCTUATION IS OK KIDS? :lmao:

I think your punctuation looks lovely ;)

May I ask how you know the kids are developmentally delayed :confused3

I was wondering the same thing...

I am a speech language pathologist although I will fully admit that you have much more experience than I do considering I am just starting my career. There is no doubt that many/most preemies have varying delays in speech and language. I personally have observed some artic/phono erros in joel (collin?) - one of them, I tend to confuse them sometimes. However I think it is unfair to assume that they are not receiving any necessary services, just because it isn't shown on tv or discussed. There could also be other areas of weakness but considering they are sextuplet preemies, they appear very close to on target for their chronological age. I'm curious, again because I am fresh out of grad school, what specific areas you have seen that make you think they are delayed? Other than the fact they were born 10 weeks early.

You also mentioned their lack of peer interaction. I agree with this to a point. It does appear that they do not interact much with other children (the tups not the twins) however they did show them in the church day care on one episode so they apparently get that once a week. Also again it is unfair to assume that they don't have other children they play with or play groups. Truthfully, I don't think they do but maybe if they did, the other parents do not want to be televised or have their kids televised, making taping it for the show pointless and boring. Just a thought.

This post proves my point. No one's berated anyone for not liking the show; it's just been questioned as to why people with so much hatred for the show continue to watch it, and still no one has an actual answer. You have two posts on the boards and they're both in this thread. You actually went through the process of creating an account just to post rumors and lies about a family on a reality TV show, and in the process tried to personally insult people in the thread. That says more about you than it does anyone else. As I've said time and time again, maybe things would actually begin to change if people stuck to worrying about and helping the truly abused and neglected children in this world instead of hiding behind their computers and spewing hatred over a reality show.

Is this really what you say time and time again? Prophetic.
I hope I get such a warm welcome as a newbie! I haven't read any hatred toward this family, only valid thoughts, opinions and observations. I quit watching after being a loyal fan. This like you said, sort of, is my choice. Search for this article below, it's interesting.

 It says you joined on August 14, 2008 and this is your first post. Funny. Anyway, some of the stuff that's been posted here has gone above and beyond simple thoughts and opinions. Everyone's allowed their thoughts and opinions but I've still yet to understand why anyone would spend their time posting about a show they so extremely hate. Even better, now people are creating fake accounts! :lmao: But you're right, it's everyone's choice as to what they do with their time and I do think it's funny that some people have nothing better to do ;)

Busted! :rolleyes1

Wonder if all these supposed "newbie" Disney lovers that just happened to find this J&K thread and ONLY post on this thread are all the same person or just from all the same Kate hating place. Just curious....

This thread has pretty much turned into a lovefest for the Gosselins. If you have a different opinion it won't be welcome here unfortunately.

I learned quickly. Keep on posting people; those numbers are amazing. I'll stick to 2. fyi: those are the Smoky Mountains (no e) Done.
