Do you go to the one in Winter Park? I looked it up online after reading about it on this thread (have not seen the show in a month or two) and plan to take my son there in December, when he will be 4.
No, we're currently just outside Tampa, so we go to the one in Valrico/Bloomingdale. The owner of our location also has the rights to open one in Lakeland and we are crossing our fingers that she opens that one in the next year.
I'll be honest, you may get a little bit of sticker shock for one class. Kevin's enrolled in the Chef's club, so there's a little bit of a price break. I look at it as fostering a passion of his and also investing in the future. When he goes off to college, he definitely won't be eating ramen noodles!
Personally, I'm hopeful that Kate keeps the girls in Young Chef's. They'd love helping out in the kitchen, it gives a great boost to self confidence. Another plus is that you've got math, science and reading happening through the hands on and reading of recipes.
Logistically, it's probably hard with all the kids, but if they like different activities, Mady and Cara should have at least ONE thing to call their own. If that happens, a lot of the drama Mady causes would probably stop happening.
