I think she meant she doesn't drive far? I don't know. Maybe she has some fears of some kind. LOL

Not liking to drive just doesn't sit well with her controlling personality. This is not a cut...takes a controlling personality to know one!

I remember one time Kate drove to/from her hair appointment. Jon met her there and I believe they switched vans. It was before their WDW trip.

i think Aaden is the Most Adorable little Boy i have ever seen. i like how Kate says he just Studies things! sooo cute!:goodvibes

I loved when he screamed "who got throw up on my chewie?!" on the flu episode.

And how cute was it to see Joel and Leah on the interview couch? The individual outings are great show ideas. i assume it will continue for the rest of the kids in future episodes?

Sorry if this was asked in other posts....why doesn't Kate drive? When they were talking about one-on-one time with the kids she said that Jon would take the boys alone but they would take the girls together since she didn't drive???

She said she doesn't like to drive far away (I don't remember the exact words but it was something of that nature). I think since she's a perfectionist, she probably gets very nervous driving somewhere she hasn't been before. My mom is the same way.

Did she say didn't drive hither and yon?

i think they should do another WDW Episode!!:goodvibes

I was very sad for the children at the Crayola factory. My dd loves art and would go crazy if I told her no markers. It was especially unfair to Cara and Maddy. Crayola washable markers always come off. why didn't she put art smocks on them like they do in preschool? I bet if she would have asked crayola would have donated them.
The kids will go crazy when they go to art class in K and are allowed to use that stuff.

Does anyone know if they have moved to a new house? I love their current home for a family of five but for ten...too small especially as the kids get bigger and accumulate more stuff. (Boy I sure know how to run-on a sentence!)

Last week they were getting new carpet and they said it was because they wanted to put the house up for sale next year and move into something bigger. I personally think their current house looks huge but then again I have always lived in very small houses. :confused3 It makes me wonder what it was like for my grandparents who raised 14 (yes 14!) children in a house with no more than 3 or 4 rooms! Of course, nobody had any "stuff" to worry about in those days...

I think I love this show more and more each time that I watch it. I thought it was SO precious when he said he didn't have to go potty but he has a weiner and Daddy's have weiner's. I rewound it and watched it three times.

Oh I adored seeing Joel and Leah in the interviews....they were so precious.
I can't wait for more episodes like that one, more one on one with the kids is great!

I thought the new episodes were adorable - though Kate irritates me more and more. I would think after all this time that the neurotic behavior would have been simmered down a little but she just seems to get worst. I can't imagine telling children they can't play with markers. Having clean clothes just doesn't trump creative learning to me...

I really like the Aunt that they go with - she seems much more laid back and lets the kids do more kid friendly activities without freaking out.

Is she Jon's sister in law? I can't remember.

IIRC, Aunt Jodie is married to Kate's brother Kevin

did anyone else find her comments about aunt jody kind of odd or at least somewhat insulting to other (unseen) family members as well as the friends that help out so much?

she made a comment about how it's so good for the kids to spend time with aunt jody and 'it's nice that they have a family member who loves them', and that it's nice that 'someone loves them for just for them and not who or what they are':confused3

to me it sounded like a 'dig' at other people in the family that she perceives as not loving of the kids, and it also made it sound like the only reason the non family members loved the kids were because they were multiples.

i can understand maybe personaly feeling this way but since the kids watch the shows over and over i would hate for them to get the impression that they only reason a person could be caring or loving towards them is because they are 'the gosselin multiples':guilty:

Kate also could have been referring to people who she perceives as being "nice" now that the Gosselins have a television show.

true, but she's choosing to take those nice things. you watch the credits to the crayola and the following episode and the factory and both the places the individual kids went to donated their admission (as well as the previous zoo, the cooking place...).

and honestly, not to bash-but how does she figure that the individual little girl was experiencing what it was like to be out on an outing with your parents 'just like an ordinary only child' when they they say that the place was nice enough to arrange for her to have it 'all to herself'. i mean realy, how many kids single or multiples get to go to a place like that and have it all to themselves and don't have to take turns:rotfl2:
