Oh dear. Very distasteful. That was last year in St Tropez. There were a lot of rumors about his heavy drinking at the time, and talk about Haley being an unsuitable girlfriend for Jon because of her previous arrest for drug possession. I hope he is not drinking/smoking weed these days.

I wonder who leaked the home video? Haley? It must have been. Even more distasteful.

As I said on the other thread..it shows him smoking Marlboro's and to me it looks like they are being silly and hamming it up for their camera. I don't get the stoned reference at all. Am I missing something, drugs on the table or something else? A young couple being silly on camera do not make for illegal drug use.
Wonder if Haley just wanted some revenge.

Yes, I suspect the ratings will drop, possibly from lack of interest in the show but also the lack of a regular timeslot.

I understand that. My point was just that if so many said no one would be watching it, including many here, why would the ratings be so good even on the first show? I don't expect the ratings to hold, since the show IMO was already on the way out before the hoopla, but I don't get with people all over the net saying they would not watch even the first show, who the heck was watching LOL?

Well, if I saw anything in the video that showed anything, I might buy it, but if a jilted lover is the unnamed source, I'll take it with a grain of salt. I've never been fond of unnamed sources, if they be Kate's or Jon's. I don't think the video showed anything to back up the claims.

Just watched the bits of the video of Jon & Hailey. (My computer kept buffering and I couldn't see the whole thing). I will say yet again that he has absolutely zero discernment when it comes to choosing girlfriends. I'll bet $ that she leaked this to radaronline. Who else would have access to their home movie in France? Obviously she's angry at him over the staged break-in and this is her revenge. Ya, she cares about Jon's kids and the fact that they might see this with that article some day. Very childish and in poor taste if you ask me.

Anyhow, they (more so Hailey) did act drunk or something because apparently everything was funny to them! Hailey acted really smashed but all I saw was the pack of Marlboro's on the table.

Where is everyone getting this info. that he was stoned? Did he and Hailey say that on the video or was it just mentioned in the article?

Well, since so many said no one would watch it, I found it interesting that the rating was so high. You don't have to care, but it doesn't mean others of us don't. All I've heard for weeks on this board is how many would not watch it. I didn't hear they would watch it to see how the kids had grown, or to see if Kate turned over a new leaf (oh come on, did anyone really watch it that dislikes Kate to see if she turned over a new leaf LOL?). I read that they felt the kids were being used and people would not watch the show. I take it mousey that you watched to see a different Kate..I could have told you that Kate is Kate, and saved you an hour of your life before the show aired.

I happen to agree with Bruno, when he said Kate's dancing was a disaster. Most people did, so it's not something new. He said it right on DWTS. I guess the great ratings they are giving credit to Kate for, was the people who only watched to see her fail. Too bad, because if she didn't fail at these shows, her kids might be off TV and Kate would be on her own. Isn't that what people say they want?

I really enjoyed seeing the kids again, they have grown so much! I was impressed with Kate and think she has mellowed a great deal.

I don't think it matters much who watches either, meaning whether they like Kate or dislike her. It is my choice not to watch it, but it is interesting when others do and report back. I will watch Twist of Kate because I support Kate's enterprises that do not involve the (IMO) excessive filming of the children.

On the ratings though -- I'm sure DWTS brought quite a few *new* viewers who hadn't watched the past seasons of J & K.

Also, the ratings for these specials are definitely down compared to Season 4. The last episode of that season had 4.6 million viewers.

So 3.4 million and 3 million for these 2 specials isn't spectacular compared to Season 4, and they were probably boosted by the curiosity factor. It will be interesting to see how many tune in for the next episode.

I just like to watch the kids and see how much they have grown up..... When the crew arrived and the kids went crazy and were happy to see them the kids do 'fun stuff' when the cameras are around, so I think this excitement was genuine.
As for the twins Mady and Kara, I think they are beginning to resent the 'little kids' a little but, isn't that just good olde sibling rivalry?

I think its very nice of you Walden to offer to help Madge research about the ratings, but from what I'm reading, I don't think you will have too many more shows to research about. For every good article on Kate, the other 5 are saying why won't this women get a real job and stop living off her kids!

Ok, so I just watched the kate8 show. Boy, she gives me a migraine snapping orders at eveyone.

My daughter and I both thought it was odd that she immediately sent Jamie back to the hotel with the sick kid instead of going herself. Gee, I bet the "friend" was really excited about having to miss Discovery Cove to go back to the hotel with a friends sick kid. I'm hoping she is smart enough to be on a payroll for that kind of treatment, but i thought Kate "didn't want anyone to make money off her kids but her". Maybe she has come to realize, that she needs to keep people payed to keep them in her life.

First, I would have assumed that the child was motion sick from the bus ride and given her a few minutes in the park to see how she did, before sending her back. However, even if she was sick enough that she really needed to go back - I WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO GO WITH HER. The crew could have still taped the kids having fun in the park with Jamie in the background more. But Kate didn't even think that for one second....she had to get out there so the world could see her parade around in that ridiculously small bikini. Ick. Honestly, it is of the lowest common taste to parade from beach, or pool or water park in an uncovered bathing suit. It is called a 'cover-up'. When one is leaving poolside or beach or water park, one pulls this lightweight garmet over ones bathing suit to remian tasteful and modest, and keep the world from having to witness EVERYTHING that you got. It keeps a person from looking like a streetwalker in lingerie. Not Kate. No way. Why was she wearing modest dresses on DWTS, if she was just going to go strip bare on her own show? bizarre.

The birthday "party" was ridiculous. First, it's not a "party" without guests. We all know the kids already celebrated their birthday (again, without guests), so why did they take time out of their vacation to do this? Weird. Why did she act like having it there was necessary so that they would have a "paparazzi free" party when she brought along a film crew anyway? Again, weird.

Why did Kate act like it was so hard to feed her kids lunch and the trainers had to carry the food for her. She didn't cook it. She has a whole film crew there with her to watch kids while she carries food back and forth. It's not that hard Kate. Geez. I have taken my four, and six of my brother kids places by myself, you just do it. You have one older kid keep an eye, while the other older child helps carry food. Or you have them all carry their own. as at 6 yrs. old they should be able to do. Did anyone else notice the SPREAD of fresh fruit and food that was in their private cabana at the park? None of us have it that nice at the parks. or have that many trainers doting on us...yet, she acts like it's all coming to her and she has it so hard. She is bonkers.

I came in at the end of her being at "say yes to the dress" what the heck was that about? Why one earth was she there? Did anyone else think she paraded through there as if she was a celebrity, yet it was lost on her that she is no more of a celebrity than the people she was meeting... funny.

I am about to agree with you and defend Kate to some extent.
First off, I would have worn that bathing suit in a New York minute if I could get away with it, in fact it is my goal. I have never understood why moms have to wear frumpy looking suits. I do know but it is because I am over weight. My plan is an itsy bitsy yellow polka dot bikini. lol

Also, there is really no place to put a cover up at Discovery Cove. You do have a locker but you can't just throw your stuff by the pools.

Also, there is no way that I would want to feed that many kids on my own, and no I wouldn't trust 6 year olds to carry a tray, if they dropped it, and surely one of them would, it would cause even more chaos.

Also, I the one who was sick has been on more bus rides than we can probably count. She had a bug. It was going around down here big time, she is lucky she wasn't sick longer. And there is no way that I would let my kids go without me to the park. Also from what I understand Jamie is a long time friend. I also think that if it had gotten bad, Jamie would have called her.
