Now the net says Jon fired his lawyer and he never asked him to file against Kate. GUess Jon is twittering. He says he and Kate and her lawyer will settle it amicably. Guess that means Jon gets a part on the new Kate + 8.
Wonder if he really did fire him.

That is totally unfair that you have to witness that live.

I hope they at least pick your number from the contest so that you get a prize for putting up with that.

Maybe this is why it feels like...

B/c from the moment of the separation--nothing Jon ever did ever seemed to make sense or have lasting impact. He always gets cheered and I wonder why b/c it's all a smokescreen. And now he never told his attorney to file?

I'm not up on my--how to file a lawsuit for child custody....

But don't they need the signature and permission of the person filing the lawsuit? And by conveying such permission--indeed, you are "asking the attorney" to file on your behalf.

I don't think she'd been back in PA since Easter. She was in NYC and LA for the book tour, with time accounted for .. I don't remember her being home. She might have. I've been paying attention, but not really stalking her every move

Yes, I agree. I'm sure they ate it up..more for us to talk about, and again, those ratings. Most of the headlines this morning mention her crying. (gesh, now I'm agreeing with you..what's up with all this agreeing?). DWTS prob hoped she'd say something really stupid, like please please, for the kids give me another chance, to bring in more ratings LOL.

She probably was upset. I'm betting the producers were telling her how great she was and that she had a legit chance at winning. But Kate is now doing what Kate loves to do. Run around the news stations, and giving interviews.

So has any heard where Kate is today? Did she return home with the kids? I can't believe they got all 8 kids flown to la and the paps didn't find out first.

Wow, were those pictures sad, of the kids watching her go.
When I fly home from a vacation, I am beat. I just want to sleep in my own bed, take a nice long hot shower and change my clothes. Kate has been photographed in her grey shrug sweater a couple of times. Either she has is laundered, or yuck, she keeps wearing it. I'm so germaphobic, I can't wait to throw everything in the wash and get it cleaned. And if she has been gone since Easter, don't you think she has to get clean underwear?

I'm betting she is on David Letterman too. I would love for her to be on Jimmy Fallon, but I'm betting she won't be, since he mocked her.

I have a feeling she isn't cooking, freezing and labeling too many meals these days!

I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out why on earth I care a hoot about Kate Gosselin?! I have never before in my life (well, maybe jr high) paid attention to any celebrity. I've never bought or subscribed to People or any tabloid to read about a celebrity. I rarely go to movies and only watch a couple of tv shows regularly. Before this season, I've never even considered watching DWTS. I can't think of any celebrity I've ever been interested in past the point of maybe skimming their Wiki entry.

But along comes Kate and I'm now googling her and reading every entry in this thread and watching YouTube clips of her and asking my husband to record Regis and Kelly for me because she's going to be on. WHY???

I always keep in mind what one of the posts by a person interviewed from the rags said. They take tons and tons of pictures, in hopes of getting the one that will be bought. She may have hugged them all, she may have told them she would be back tomorrow, and she loved them. We don't see that, because it doesn't sell the mags. And of course maybe she didn't and just gave a wave, but we really haven't a clue what went on in that hour between them getting home and her leaving.

I thought the kids looked very tired after their long trip..they prob all headed for naps..I know I would have.

I know folks will consider it a defense of KAte....but remember what it is like shooting pictures of your own family in action. Still shots--they say a picture is worth 1000 words, but they aren't always truthful when it comes to the papparazzi--especially in a story entitled something to the effect of Kate abandoning her kids again.

Trainwreck, car wreck....same deal. Those are horrible events, but I cannot help but looking to assess the damage.

It's pretty bad, but for Kate that is what makes her so captivating. Dare I say it's like a never ending saga of Princess Diana almost. Kate certaily is no princess, but it seems that our culture is obsessed with her (like her, hate her, or neutral) as though she were some kind of British Royalty.

Heck--"Speidi" (Spencer and Heidi, of waht they are knonw for I have no idea but they were constantly on tabloid covers)--don't get covered as much as Kate does.

That's a pretty good analogy. Our very first trip overseas (before my son moved there and we became world travelers LOL) was to France, shortly after her death, and our bus driver stopped at the accident site, where in the middle of the roads was a small grassye area with all sorts of notes and flowers, etc, (I just ran into those pictures) and we got out to look, to the disdain of those from France. They obviously hadn't liked her, and couldn't understand Americans love affair with her. We also went to London and visited the tribute (flowers just everywhere on the lawn of Kensington Palace) and people actually crying. However, again some of the people on our tour did not have nice things to say about her.
Not to say Kate is anywhere in the same thoughts as her..just comenting about why people are like they are about other people they don't know).

I now officially believe that Jon was in fact, abducted by aliens. He is useless and probably worse for the kids than Kate is. I hope those nannies don't have high turnover and they really love those kids. It's all they have that is constant.
