Funny how the question was "Where do you see you and the kids in ten years? And the answer she gave never mentioned the kids. The little ones will be 15, can you imagine what they will be like or have to say when their 15?

She mentioned them in her answer
Myself and my kids in 10 years will be happy, healthy - I would love my TV career to be successful. I would love to not be alone, but nobody
is going to buy into my mess.

I can't wait to see if this is tonight, or a past intereview, since she answered a question that was the same or similar in the same way in another interview.

They may ask a judge to divorce their parents due to irreconcilable differences so they can get away from the madness.

:confused3 Yes she did .... she said hopefully they will be happy & healthy. She said the twins will be 19 & the little kids will be 15 etc.

I thought Jon only (did I say only?) had to put back $180,000 in the account?

http://www.popeater.com/2009/10/26/...r.com/2009/10/26/jon-and-kate-gosselin-court/

Jon Gosselin has paid back $230,000 he took from the joint bank account he shares with estranged wife Kate Gosselin, but still says Kate hasn't accounted for $33,000 she spent, Usmagazine.com reports.

"We have all the representation we need. All we need is Kate's participation and Kate to stop crying on TV," Jon's lawyer Mark Heller said outside the courtroom, criticizing Mrs. Gosselin for not attending the hearing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, Kate's lawyer claims that she doesn't have to account for that missing money. "It's fully compliant," Cheryl Young said, PEOPLE reports.

For his part, Jon is "optimistic" about the proceedings -- although he's still without an attorney. (Heller is not licensed to practice in Pennsylvania where the hearings are taking place.)

"I'll just get another attorney. I have to," he told PEOPLE after Charlie Meyer resigned again.

The case has now been left to arbitrators and a two-day conference has been scheduled for next month.

After the hearing, Kate's attorneys released a statemen, TMZ reports.

"We are clearly pleased that the monies taken by Mr. Gosselin have been returned to the marital account, and we look forward to recouping additional monies taken by Mr. Gosselin at the time of the parties' private arbitration hearings," it read.

"A total of at least $235,000 was taken by Mr. Gosselin, and despite his initial comments denying responsibility, we have established that Ms. Gosselin needed emergency relief to prevent her economic claims from being compromised."

Radar Online must have gotten a sneak peak at tonite's show.

If she feels this way, why isn't she fighting to save her marriage.

I feel Kate is looking through a tunnel, and the only thing she wants to see is a tv career for herself, and nothing else.

What do you suggest she do? We do not know what she has tired to do.

It seems to me right now she has to protect what money they have left from Jon. How does she even talk to someone like Jon. Even his family does not seem to be able to help him.

most of the interviews are the same. same questions, same answers. every now and then there's a little deviation, but not much.

we only know what Jon and Kate have told us. Kate expressed in an interview some months ago that she did several things to try and fix their situation. Jon tried to get Kate to go counseling. Anything else? I'm not sure we've been made aware of much else.

Did he put the money back or does he have to the end of the day? Rador on line says it is not back yet. Maybe they are waiting for the check from the Jodi & Kevin show to come in.

According to Charles Meyer's statement on Friday, Jon had already deposited the money with him on Friday -- it was obviously placed into an escrow account.

One thing I am confused about. If Jon can say no filming on his property to TLC then why can't Kate say the same to the paps that Jon invites on the property?

I think she can -- in fact I think they both could ask for a restraining order to keep the paparazzi away from the kids. Neither has though. :confused3

Obviously I am not qualified to diagnose Kate to the extent of prescribing her medication or anything. If she plays a mom on t.v. then I can play a shrink on the Internet. :teacher:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: too funny!

I for one wasn't surprised by the outcome of the hearing this morning, or by the rather over-the-top statements of both attorneys. That is just lawyer-speak IMO -- Perhaps I've followed too many court cases on TV?:rotfl2:

If Mayer has indeed resigned, the case may be delayed still further while Jon finds and retains a new attorney. I do hope they manage to reach a mediated agreement soon for the sake of the children.

The optimist in me that likes to think well of people thinks it is great that extended family (Jon's mother, brothers and Jodi and Kevin) are back in the children's lives. The children always seemed to love Jodi and Kevin and Jon seems to need family support. But then, the cynic in me says that having extended family involvement looks really good in a custody battle . . .

ITA -- there was only so much that could be accomplished without Kate there. Her lawyer can represent her, but he couldn't agree to anything on her behalf.

I haven't heard anything about Kate withdrawing her petition for full custody, so I would say the custody battle is really on already. If so, it's likely that Kevin and Jodi will be called to testify -- by both sides.

If she feels this way, why isn't she fighting to save her marriage.

I feel Kate is looking through a tunnel, and the only thing she wants to see is a tv career for herself, and nothing else.

Why would she fight for her marriage when it was the thing standing in the way of her career? It really bothers me that she takes on the role of victim when clearly she wanted out -- why would she think we should feel sorry for her when she was the one who walked away? I guess it helps to set the scene for the single-mother-doing-it-all-alone-TV-show.

Huh? I don't even understand what he's saying :confused3

If she would love to have a successful t.v. career, does that mean working at McDonald's to feed her kids is no longer on the table?? :lmao:

I have the feeling that her "question and answer" segment tonight is going to be a real yaaaaawner... Zzzzzzzzz...

Maybe she can get a show together with balloon boy's dad......he'd "buy into her mess" for the attention. He is just the kind of man she needs...she would learn not to be the controller in a relationship REAL quick.

That is what Kate is like to me,,,looking for attention even if it is at the expense of her kids, make a buck off the kids, looking to be on TV at all costs, no shame .... PERFECT MATCH!

If she feels this way, why isn't she fighting to save her marriage.

Perhaps alone isn't as bad as being with Jon....how can she save the marriage with Jon's girlfriend right in the middle of the madness? :confused3

I think she can -- in fact I think they both could ask for a restraining order to keep the paparazzi away from the kids. Neither has though. :confused3

I don't think they can do anything about the paps out in public but on private property I would certainly think so. The fact that they haven't done that speaks volumes.

Huh? I don't even understand what he's saying :confused3
Do you think he's talking about the money she took out, and that they proved to the judge she needed it to pay bills? That's how I took it. That in spite of Jon saying he didn't take it (he wasn't responsible for that much gone missing) they found that $235,000 was missing that he was responsible for. The money missing from Kate was used for their bills. Maybe that's what he means?

I don't think we'll know until the book comes out who wanted out of this marriage. We don't know if Jon did something to start the failure (and Kate felt it was bad enough she no longer wanted the marriage), or if Kate did something (which could be as simple as Jon reading about himself in the rag mags and deciding he didn't want to be that person anymore. That seems to be something they aren't ready to let us know about yet.

Because he is still a hot mess & getting worse instead of better.

Ok you have just jumped the shark with the "others" pixiedust:

This show is so boring, I knew she was not going to answer any real hard questions, just questions we already know the answer to. Time to change the channel. She is so fake, I wonder what TLC person helped her answer her questions.
