First, I have to say I love her hair. I realize I'm the only one, but I think it's much softer looking and she looks great.

I watched the video, and I have no idea what she was thinking when she said that. I can only hope she really meant Jon would love them just as much.

I wonder if the babysitter/nanny goes home at night, or if she was with them.
I doubt that this would cause Jon to have supervised visits (is the garage part of the house?). In NY you can have a SO sleep over with yoru children in the house.

The garage is a separate building -- no way he'd be able to hear the kids if they got up at night, no way he'd be providing adequate supervision even if he was there for any length of time. Stuff happens.

It's like bizzarro world, but if Kate does get a show maybe the kids can end theirs! I won't be watching, but I have to giggle at the celebrity gossip talk! Who will they be gossiping about?

Umm, way to burn bridges when you're trying to become a celebrity. IMO, this is not going to work out very well.

We don't get Paula Deen here -- so I don't know anything about her. Can somebody enlighten me on why she would be teamed up with Kate?

it was a last-minute change. LaToya Jackson was the scheduled co-host. Kathy Griffin will also be on the show, which might be interesting .. or it might be a non-event.

I saw a bit she did last month about Jon & Kate at one of her shows. She said something like "I know everyone is supposed to hate Kate, but I just think Jon is the biggest douchebag." and went on a whole rant about Jon.

They say Paula has been searching for 5 yrs for someone to do a talk show with--why she would pick Kate is beyond my wildest dreams. Actually they seem like 2 opposites. I think Paula would be better paired with Jon. The recipes I have seen Paula prepare were neither organic or non junk food. Paula is a good cook and she uses the best ingredients that are not always fat free.
I did notice a closeout type store opened near us and it contained a lot of her cookware. I guess it didn't take off as expected in the retail stores.

Jon can claim people are lying and just saying stuff to get paid all he wants, but he puts himself in these situations. No matter what happened behind closed doors, you still saw this girl sneaking out of the house in the early morning hours in the same clothes she had on the night before. Maybe Jon slept on the couch, but he gave her the opportunity to tell stories. Say what you want about Kate, but she is smart enough not to associate with people that go running to the tabloids.

The only thing I can think of is Paula's first Husband walked out on her when her boys were small. Her parents were dead & she had agoraphobia. She started making bag lunches & had her boys sell them in down town Savannah.

I could see her identifying with Kate who has issues.( OCD) maybe? Kate was broke once apon a time too.

BTW I love Paula.

I would say that is why Kathy is on Friday's show because friday's are taped, I would think they would have a leash on Kathy and tell her what she could say. She is on there to promote her new book. I did love her parody video about Kate and Jon.

Did Paula pick Kate or did the people putting the show together pick Kate?

And .. just because it's been leaked to the media doesn't mean that a show will be on next month. They haven't even filmed a pilot yet. There may be absolutely no chemistry between the hosts, focus groups may hate it, etc. This might not actually happen. It might .. and probably will, but it's not on the TV schedule just yet.

It doesn't seem a good match to me either. Paula has a lot of Southern charm, but her recipes are like heart attacks on a plate. They all seem to start with butter and end with adding extra butter. Kate would have to ask if it were organic butter!

Watch out for the Paula Deen cookware. The cast iron stuff was recalled because it shattered while heating.

I saw the spoof and it was funny. There is no need for her to appologize for it. I would think even Kate would laugh at it.

I saw it but it was harsher on Jon than Kate IMO. They had the guy from the original Star Track playing Jon. Kate walks in & finds him in bed with the Nanny....but you get the feeling she did'nt care.

Isn't that "nanny" the same woman who was in the house when Kate called the police? The one who Jon claimed was "just a babysitter"? Uh-huh.

Kate obviously knows not to believe a word that comes out of Jon's mouth.
