I'm sorry, but if this weren't so incredibly sad, it would be hilariously funny.

Reminds me of a kid putting "Keep Out!" sign up as he slams his bedroom door.
Kind of like this one that Mady put up?

Let's make Mady's poster the theme picture of the day.![]()
Didn't expect this from Perez Hilton (who I've never seen be anything but insulting towards Jon):

Following this morning's explosive revelation that father of the year Jon Gosselin sent TLC a "cease and decist" letter to halt production on their reality show because he no longer wants his children being exploited on television .
PerezHilton.com has just spoken exclusively with Jon's manager, Mike Heller. We explicitly asked if this was about money or a negotiation tactic.
Heller tells us:
"Jon Gosselin is the new David and TLC is the new Goliath. Jon is empowered by his new attorney, Mark Jay Heller, to take back control of his family. Even if it means the revenue stream will be cut off. Jon's priority is family not money. THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIATION TACTIC TO get more money from TLC.
We are completely cutting ties with TLC. This is something that he has been trying to do for a while now.
Wow.
This sounds like war.
We LOVE it!
Well, they did insult him a little bit on the photo.
They should just print up put Mady's sign and put it on the gate. Or maybe that is what they did...![]()
I think the Jon & Kate + 8 show should be canceled. I think the kids never should have been dragged into this whole production.
THAT SAID, I think Jon is a complete and total worm. Just weeks ago he was saying that filming the kids WASN'T harmful, that they were just fine, what a great opportunity this was for them and their family. He said all of this on camera -- it's on tape for everyone to hear. It wasn't until he was cut out of the show that suddenly he decided the show WAS harming his children.
Give me a break. What a selfish bore.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that he's just trying to hurt Kate -- to take away something from her that he knows she loves and wants to continue.
I did read that "The Divorced Dads Club" with Jon and Michael Lohan is going to happen.
So explain this to me. Jon wants Kate + 8 to end because he says it's in the best interest of the kids. What is having their dad on a reality show talking about his divorce to the world going to do to these kids? It doesn't seem to me that ANY of Jon's decisions these days are in the best interest of his kids.
Kind of like this one that Mady put up?

This article made me LOL (thanks, I needed that today, I have a DD9, enough said), and I quote: "By the way, it's spelled "PEENELTY" not "PENELTY." They forgot the E in the sign above.
No, it's spelled "penalty"
I don't think Jon put that sign up -- he obviously would know how to spell his own name.
No, that is just sad period.
Where did this picture come from? Not questioning it, just really curious. I never saw it before.
It's obvious to those in the know that Jon did not personally put the sign up. He certainly knows how to spell his own name! (I just realized my thought mirrored yours)!
I'm a huge fan of dlisted.com, checking in on it several times a day...and laughing constantly at its content!
Quite a few articles about J & K can be found in the site's archives.
The owner of the site, Michael K. has quite a way with words. He's also gay, which explains his want for penelty(penalty) to be spelled peenelty.
I'll leave it at that!![]()
It came from an episode. I got it off the Preesi site.
New People article. Jon claims the kids have been complaining about the current filming schedule. This lawyer really has his stuff together.

Don't point the finger at Jon Gosselin for all the madness surrounding his attempted shutdown of Jon & Kate Plus 8, his manager says. The fault is with the show which Gosselin claims is hurting his family.
"Basically we've put a halt on the show," manager Mike Heller tells PEOPLE. "Jon has been talking to TLC for a long time to cut back on the production and still honor his contract because it's been getting in the way of his family, his children are complaining."
"It's been hurting the relationship that he's trying to reconcile with his wife he's trying to get back with her as a parent," Heller adds. "They are the mom and dad of their children [but] they talk by text message. He wants to take 90 days."
Future in Question
Gosselin's effort to shut down production has apparently worked, at least temporarily. TLC announced Thursday that it was suspending the show until Jon and Kate Gosselin spoke about the future of the show and raising their kids.
And it's not because, as most people seem to suspect, Jon was angry that he'd been cut out of a leading role in a revamped show that will be titled Kate Plus 8, Heller says.
"People are reporting he was fired. He was never fired. They just changed the name," Heller says. "This is not a ploy it's an approach that he thinks will help him reconcile with his wife."
Indeed, Heller insists that Jon is intent on putting his life back together on multiple fronts.
'Jon Made Mistakes'
"He's acknowledged hes made mistakes and shouldn't have been running around. He took advantage of his freedom after he got it. It hurt his reputation," Heller says.
"He's taken responsibility and you don't see him running wild any more. He hasn't been out partying. He's taken a look at his himself in the mirror and he wasn't happy, it's not who he was. He never cheated on his wife. His wife is the one who ended the relationship," he says.
TLC released the following statement earlier today:
"We ... remain deeply disappointed at [Jon Gosselin]'s continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic. Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC."
It's obvious to me that everything Jon has done this week is part of something he's been working on for more than 2 days -- at the very least, it's been since getting his new lawyer.
I think so too. I think the new lawyer came in and saw the divorce agreement and was like "Whoa, you are getting screwed, time to back up and start over."
I'm sorry, but if this weren't so incredibly sad, it would be hilariously funny.
