Kate told Regis and Kelley that the way her and Jon have been handling the time each of them spend with the kids has been surprisingly peaceful. So there must be more to it than just Jon being upset that she dropped in unexpectedly.

It seems like the lines got blurred today, Kate arrived back home after her trip. She was home today while Jon took Alexis or Leah to the doctor and later took the twins for school supplies.

I think you're right -- this week has been disjointed, as far as how they've been handling the custody so far. Kate was not there Monday and Tuesday, since she was in NYC. Was Jon with the children? He was filming on Sunday .. so I'm thinking he was at the house while Kate was gone, but I can't find any photos to back that up. There was a time on yesterday that shows the children at the house with the nannies, and no parents in sight. But one of them could have been in the house or something. Then yesterday, Kate came home, and today, Jon is taking kids out and about.

True -- there was also an US mag story about that (it also says 2 of the nannies ran errands for her ). But maybe she wasn't home while Jon had the kids out today -- nothing in the RadarOnline articles says that -- maybe we just assumed that.

Sorry - I haven't been able to keep up with all these posts - so if you happen to know where how far back you discussed it I don't mind if you send me there - but I'll never find it alone...

I was wondering what all y'all discussed about K having breast implants?

What, no Four Seasons Hotel in Reading----she must feel like she is slumming it at a Days Inn Hope she remembered her slippers, because we know she doesn't walk on hotel carpets in bare feet

But ya know why is she even staying in a hotel? She says that's HER house & with her kids is where she belongs - then why didn't she send Jon on his merry way? especially when they have no agreement set up yet & he has a place to go. Shoot she could pitch a tent in the backyard if she needs too...way out there where the houses were gonna go & he'd never know she was there....

I think it was back 100 pages or so, when she was photographed in a bikini. Some are sure she had them done, others decided there was no way that would be possible without everybody knowing. Either way, she looks great in a bikini.

Wow, this is going to get ugly. Did Jon say the divorce would be final by 9/30? I feel sorry for those kids, even more now than before.

Wow -- this is going to be a nasty divorce. I've heard of couples having to hand off kids at grocery stores so their ex wouldn't know where they lived, and others who did the exchange straight from school so they wouldn't have to see each other.

I'm giving cudos to whichever spouse refuses to talk about the incident publicly. That must have been horrible for the kids. Talking about it is just going to make it worse for them, because then everybody will know what happened.

I've seen some pretty immature adults when I was a teacher. One would hid in the bushes to make sure that her kid was picked up by the Dad on his days. Then after he picked her up she would come to me and ask "what did he say? anything about me" Yeah, that wasn't awkward at all.

You see what you want to see -- for example, if you go on RadarOnline, you'll see plenty of photos of Jon without sunglasses.

IMO, Jon was always the type of guy he is now, not the guy he portrayed on the show. He always had his ears pierced, always smoked, and only stopped snowboarding and biking when he married Kate. Did you really think he didn't know how to ride a motorcycle before the OCC episode?

To me, the more amazing thing is that he was able to portray the preppy image for so long.

I think the only drugs Jon are on are alcohol and antidepressants.

that's true! and I think it would be a natural assumption for us to make, too .. Kate's away for part of the week, of course she would be at the house the day after she returned home.

I don't remember seeing any driveway shots from Thursday, so it's tough to know who was where, other than Jon running errands with 3 of the kids.

I'm sure we'll hear more today.

Oh, one more thing. My friend that follows the show said that she thought it was a mistake to say in interviews (both print and TV) that she is hiding from the paparazzi. It was like she threw down the gauntlet saying she could not be found. That, in my friend's opinion, would put the paps on more of a hunt to show her that they can find her whenever they would like.

I think she had a good point.

If I were Kate, I would be pitching a fit over Stephanie Santoro as well. With these developments, a new thread will be started by Monday.

I bolded. Hopefully as time passes things will get better for the 2 of them. I know someone who went through a divorce that was really, really ugly. Physical fights between all involved! H, W, GF, BF etc. it was terrible but years later, they all seem to get along well enough. I hope this situation calms down as time goes on.

like I said, Since Kate is very OCD and controlling, Jon knows what buttons to push. And so do his GFs.
On the show Monday night kate said that that new island was big enough for her to sleep on. I cringed and thought "don't even say that!" I can see a GF deciding it is a "fun idea" to have sex on the island. I mean after all, KY b-ball coach had sex at a resturant table with some passing fling 6 years ago!

She also said that she lets the kids have bacon and suasage about 2x a year for special occasions. I can imagine some hoochie mama deciding the kids can have bacon every meal if they'd like it. just to get kate's goat. ugh.

I wonder if she's really a nanny, or if that's what the paps are calling her. because, it would seem to me that a nanny would be something Jon and Kate would need to agree on together. (disclaimer: I am inexperienced when it comes to separation & divorce, so I understand that idea might be naive)

The only good thing about this story is that it didn't happen up at the house for the kids to see.

That's only if you assume there's something going on between them. We don't know, one way or the other.

But if Jon feels a need to have a different nanny while he's there, this thing is a lot uglier than we know. Separate days, separate nannies, separate bodyguards...wow.

She is going to have to learn to accept that her rules and limitations do not have to be adhered to by Jon. She may go for Organic - he does not. She may limit sausage and bacon - he can give it to them every day if he wants.
